By being close to the water's edge I get to feel the most relaxing breeze to that relieves the hot scorching heat heat wave. People in the water amuse me with their activities.Some are waiting on big waves to carry them in as they try to body surf. Kids are running in the shallow area, splashing and carrying on with each other. Now and then you can hear the sounds of loud screams as a wave catches someone off guard and down they go. For the past few years my family and I have been going to the same vacation spot. Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is located along the beautiful Atlantic Ocean and is packed with fun and entertainment for the whole family. At first I was very apprehensive about going too far out. I was afraid that I would get attack by sharks. But I figured when in Rome do as the Romans do, and I followed my family deep into the water. Because I allowed myself to be courageous I was able to have an amazing time. I swam with my family, and I was brave enough to let the waves crash against me, even though the water was very rough that day. I even found a sea urchin in the water. If I was not willing to go into the water I would not have been able to enjoy the day at the beach. My favorite place has to be a beach that is in this wonderful place called Grand Turk. Grand Turk is an island that many cruise ships go to and is by far the best place to go on a cruise. There is an abundance of reasons why this beach is so amazing to me.

The beach chairs around me wait slowly to get filled up. Rubbing on the wonderful tanning oil that smells like the coffee beans my mom uses in the mornings for her coffee. There is sand everywhere, in my toes, on the towels, and on my skin. I run into the water to rinse off, as I get the water gets in my mouth, and it's almost as if i took a tall glass of water and added a jar full of seas salt to the water. I get back out of the water and the sand on the bottom of my feet feels like with every step I take the sand is moulding my foot. I get back to my beach chair and lay back down.
