A universalizing religion is a religion that is found everywhere with followers distributed widely around the world. The holidays and events are strongly connected to the founder’s life. An extremely dominant universalizing religion is Christianity.
An ethnic religion has meaning and appeals to one of group of people living in a particular area. The followers are highly clustered, and an example is Hinduism.
Hinduism and Christianity are similar because both religions have one very special place to worship their gods. The Mandir is the name of the Hindu place of worship. Christians worship at a Church. Though the locations are different, there’re some similarities between a Church and a Mandir. Both vary in size from small to large buildings
