Located 30 minutes north of Atlanta, Georgia, this is a truly amazing lake. It is a large lake filled with islands, hence the name. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this beautiful lake is the place to go. It is quite commercialized with resort hotels and water parks, spa center, and campgrounds dotting its white sand shores, but the lake itself is breathtakingly gorgeous.

At the end of the day, residents can sit back and enjoy one of the most breathtaking sunsets before relishing in the town's fantastic night life.
The author of passage one employs a detached and impartial style by listing detailed facts about the swamp’s physical features and wildlife. The author immediately commences the passage by stating the location and dimensions of the swamp as “25 mi wide and 40 mi long”, followed by a matter-of-fact explanation of the effects of the surrounding landscapes and bodies of water on the swamp’s environmental characteristics. The technical terminology, concise sentence structure, and lack of vivid figurative language displayed throughout the entire passage reveals an unbiased and objective perspective whose sole purpose is to inform those who want to learn of what the Okefenokee Swamp consists of.

Between the topography, wildlife diversity, history, and culture preserved at Lapham Peak, many cross curricular standards could be addressed in a short visit to Lapham Peak.

Craig Key in Florida is a calm peaceful, relaxing, and tranquil place to go fishing. There are just two properties in this little key, Overseas Highway, and the Florida Keys Overseas Heritage Trail. Florida Keys Overseas Heritage Trail is on the side of the road where my family goes fishing. The Florida Keys are, as the Florida Fish and Wildlife officer said “a beautiful place to go fishing if anyone annoying is not around,” by which he meant if other people were around.

For tens of thousands of years, humans have changed, and have been changed by, this place we call the Big Cypress Swamp. First the Calusa, followed by European explorers of the 1500s, then the Miccosukee, Seminole and other settlers to the area.
