Do you ever wonder how many species of honey bees there are? Are they originally native Canadians? Why don’t we see honeybees anymore?What is their role of honeybees in the ecosystem? What has affected their population?
They are 20 000 species of honey bee in the world, they all have a different ecological niche. They have a different habitat in the way they live, and eat.Honeybees were brought by the Europeans in the 1600s to the North America, honey bees spreaded throughout the area. Honey bees produce honey and pollinate crops (they are dependant on fruits and nuts).

The most important role of honeybees in the ecosystem is pollination it’s the process which pollen is transformed to female reproducing organs of the plant,it’s how other species connect with the honey bees, so they can get honey or pollen from them. Not all honey bees are created to collect nectars from the flower and pollinate them.
Human impacts affect the environment in numerous ways, by increasing water, air, and soil pollution, and increase greenhouse gases in the atmosphere causing global warming, because more energy is trapped in the climate system.

Which may affect the population of bees, because the may get lost (not knowing where the hive is), and they may they may starve. Pesticides because some farmers/people spray pesticides on their crops to kill insects, rodents, fungi, weeds, and pests that damage the crops. when animals/organisms eat from the plants that have pesticides they will eventually die.
