POTENTIAL SPOILER ALERT: Typically, viewers can count on my reviews being spoiler-free, but there is a chance that I may reveal something you didn't know or hadn't heard. I try to stay away from all discussion and press about the show before I watch it, and some of you are probably like me in that respect. So if you are, I advise you to quit reading right now. However, if you are dying to know what may or may not be included in the upcoming premiere, read on. But know you have been warned. First of all, if you perused my reviews for season two, you may be surprised to hear that I wasn't always enthusiastic about that particular season. While I admired and appreciated what they did and faithfully reviewed it, I found myself missing Hope Valley, …show more content…
As Cody, Carter suits the framework of Hope Valley with ease. We know of his character's actions before we literally see him, and something tells me he is going to become a permanent fixture on this show. He and his sister are runaway orphans, and without revealing anything, you may just be able to guess who takes him in (trust me, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one …show more content…
Are these two related? Were they partners in crime? I don't sense we can trust what Aren says, and he knows enough to destroy Pastor Frank, but will he do it? Only time will tell. I thought I recognized Aren, and when I checked out his resume, I noticed a couple former works of his (Trading Christmas and A Mother's Nightmare). I remember him most from the latter of those works, but he is probably familiar to many of the viewers. We are cognizant of the fact that he is a despicable character from the beginning, but the single ladies of the town had better take heed. I am persuaded that we have not seen the last of this talented actor and his wayward character. And one of those girls who had better beware is Clara. I was ecstatic to see Eva return as I have been watching her career develop for a few years now. As she has gained more experience and finally seemed to have found her footing in this series, she is excellent as the daughter-in-law of Abigail who lost her husband the same time Abigail hers--the apalling mine
Of all the deaths that plagued New Bremen in the summer of 1961, Ariel’s death robbed their community of more than just her music. William Kent Krueger’s novel Ordinary Grace cleverly weaves in filaments and truths about grace through the person of Ariel. As the summer tumbles forward at a fevered pace, Ariel’s character continuously gives insight into the threads of grace that hold the Drum family together. Ariel plays a pivotal roll in Ordinary Grace because her character explores the facets of grace: kindness, beauty, forgiveness, and hope, while exposing how dark life is without it. As the eldest and only daughter in the Drum family, Ariel carried the expectations and hopes of her family like hefty luggage.
Emmy Laybourne’s Monument 14, follows the main character Dean Greiber who is a junior in highschool living in the city of Monument, Colorado. Although the flow of the book is a little disconnected at times, the development of the major/minor characters was truly astounding throughout the book. The book starts out quite quickly with a weather phenomenon. The destructive hailstorm cause two buses to violently crash into each other with Dean and his brother on board. Immediately, the remaining students ranging from elementary school to highschool take refuge in a store with absolutely no adults to look after them. Not only did the hailstorm cause widespread destruction, it also disrupted a nuclear power plant causing extremely dangerous chemicals
Initially Ms. Strangeworth is a widely respected lady among her those around her. These are the most important rules of their society. One day John decides he is tired of wearing a suit he can’t stand it, so John rips the sleeves off, cuts his suit pants above the knee, and he also talk very loud. This makes John a deviant because he is no longer abiding by his societies norms. Reverend John Hale from Beverly, Massachusetts was summoned to Salem, a town full of supposed witches, manipulative children, a corrupt government, and depraved leaders, yet he takes on an impossible task of saving the wicked from themselves. Playwright Arthur Miller's 1950’s play, The Crucible, displays static character John Hale as a determined, willing, young man who stays true to his morals and remains righteous and compassionate throughout the work. Beginning to end, John Hale exhibits consistent traits as an eager and zealous individual, although at times ingenuous; additionally, Hale displays honesty and morality through the four Acts that complete his compassionate and trusting personality.
Now that it has been a few months since I have heard the sad news, I have gotten a little better about the situation. At least there will be two new characters added to the show. Their names will
