The controls aren’t as simple as you would think: for example, you have to time breaking through the gates. It isn’t a button masher at all, but the controls are a bit complicated, and the same can be said with the mechanics. You need to control your horse’s speed by tapping on the “up” arrow on the screen and make sure it stays in the “good” area of the speed bar. You may also change your horse’s direction in the track, but be sure to stay near the rails!
Despite being a freemium game and having numerous microtransactions, the game doesn’t shove it into your face. Moreover, the overall aesthetics and presentation are satisfactory, but not excellent. The user interface also shines, considering you won’t find navigating through the tabs difficult at all, but it will need some time getting used to. The recommended section is also there to help guide you throughout the numerous processes.

Upon one’s initial glance the sport of barrel racing might seem as though it is a very basic, straightforward, and even easy sport to achieve a high level of success. However, barrel racing is exactly the opposite. To be a highly skilled barrel racer it takes far more than just agility, strength, and trust from both the horse and its rider. It takes a great deal of patience to learn, be taught, and to have trust in every aspect of this sport. This is a fast paced sport that requires a great deal of dedication, skill, and motivation from every competitor, and horse, regardless of their age or skill level. Along with the above stated skills comes an extremely high level of danger, that I sadly got to witnessed first hand. Every aspect of this

I remember as a little kid and now being fascinated by race horses. When I was around eight years old, my grandfather took me to a farm where they raise race horses. They were out exercising Mine That Bird and a few other horses. I thought it was so fascinating! The owner walked up to and asked if I enjoy watching them, I said very shyly,” yes sir.” He took me to the barn and let me look at all the foals and I was astonished. I got to thinking what all do they have to do to get these young foals ready to one day race? I asked Mr. Allen, and he said, “there are many things that you can do but some people don’t do the right thing and they cheat their way to victory”.
May 10, 2006. It’s a warm foggy morning in Kentucky. In the early morning hours a racehorse, Mining My Own, went into labor. By nine that morning, she gave birth to a less than extraordinary bay stud. The breeders decided to name him, Mine That Bird. His owners never really thought the horse would amount to much, and as a yearling, decided to sell him for the low price of $9,500. MTB went to a race track in Canada and started his racing career and later returned to the United States. He won just enough races to qualify him for the biggest race in the thoroughbred industry, the Kentucky Derby. Mine That Bird was the 19th out of 20 horses in the race

According to society, Equestrians are jockeys that race around a track. But to anyone who’s actually ridden or has a passion for horses, you know that there are two distinctive styles of riding - English and Western. There are both similarities and differences between the two types of riding. Regardless of the style of riding people participate in or favor, each world of riding opens up various activities for the rider to enjoy.
Selection is based on previous performance including race record; pedigree and phenotype to which play an important role when evaluating racehorses with conformation which is subjective to opinion or experience (McIlwrath, 2004). Foals in the racing industry are purchased through auction sales and stud farms and are based on their conformation, way of going and pedigree although conformation criteria differs from foal to 2-3 year old through musculoskeletal changeability. What has to be considered is the sire or dam who have produced winning progeny and has made the most prize money through races ran (O 'Mara, 2015).
Heidi Van De Motter, the owner of Gallop On, currently has 15 horses in her care. Her goal is to have them retrained and sold for the use of another sport.
The Quarter horse is a common breed that does many different kinds of sports. The main sports that the Quarter horse is found to compete in is rodeo events, horse racing, and some jumping events. These horses are very common in the United States especially for these different sports that they do (Blocksdorf, 2018).
But you just sit there, you may be thinking; you just make the horse go and stop. All you’re doing is staying on top of the animal and telling it where to go and how fast, when to turn, when to jump, and so on. You’re not really doing anything. It’s not a sport. You don’t run around, or use balls, or score goals, or anything like that. That’s what the horse is doing, and you’re along for the ride. That means you’re not playing a sport.

The science behind evaluating racehorses is deciding which faults make a direct impact to the horse’s career. The requirements needed for a horse to succeed starts at the conformation of the foal/yearling. To which conformational faults are passed down from parents, however, faults may or may not have consequences to their racing career, and therefore different trainers/bloodstock agents may have different inceptions with regard to acceptable faults (TOBA, 2015).

Horses are incredible creatures that have shaped history around the globe. There are over 150 different breeds of horses that have countless skills. Between their extraordinary intelligence and obedience, horses have worked at the mercy of humans for many different reasons. Their expertise ranges from being one of the fastest modes of transportation on land, to helping fight in wars, herd cattle and even serve as a source of recreation or sport (Duren). Horses have been present throughout all of history up until present day specifically in religions or cultures, war, and their uses in modern times.
Gaited horses, like the Tennessee walking horse, for example, are a special type of horse. Tennessee walking horses naturally have a higher step. That high gait decreases bouncing and makes a smooth ride for the rider. In walking horse shows, the horse with a highest gate wins the competition. This gate is known as the “Big Lick.” To produce an even higher gait, many trainers have used chains or special horse shoes that cause more pressure on the hooves of a horse. This practice is known as soring, when people cause pain to the lower legs and hooves of a horse to speed up the training for a high (Gang). Thoroughbreds are used for one of the most famous equine sports ever; horse racing. However, these fast horses have a secret that make them go even faster. Performance-enhancing drugs are used by veterinarians, trainers, and owners. This increases the horses speed, but the drugs are used way too often, and therefore damage the horses bones (Cohen). Whips are also a tool of encouragement in the racing industry. That is also hard to separate into black and white. One horse may shy away in fear from the whip, while
