The Hound of the Baskervilles is a mystery novel written by Arthur Conan Doyle. The author weaves a variety of relationships together to make the plot mysterious as it is. The Hound of the Baskerville is about a family curse that haunts the Baskervilles for generations. When Sir Charles dies of heart failure, there are rumours saying that Sir Charles died because of the cursed Hound. So, when the inheritance's heir, Sir Henry Baskerville, arrives in Devonshire, Watson accompanies Sir Henry to Baskerville Hall, and Holmes is asked to investigate the case. The Hound of the Baskervilles has a very detailed plot. The plot is only possible due to the characters' different relationships. In the novel, there are various relationships. One of the relationship is between Mister Stapleton and Henri.

At the beginning of the book, Mister Stapleton introduces Miss Stapleton as his sister, but as the story develops Sherlock discovers that Miss Stapleton is married to Mister Stapleton. Even though Mister Stapleton abuses Miss Stapleton, she still keeps his secrets and stays with him, but when Mister Stapleton plans to kill the Baskervilles, she starts to rebel against him. He also convinces Laura Lyons to write a letter to ask Sir Charles for some money than not go. Due to this, Sir Charles dies because Mister Stapleton released the hound to kill him. Later when Sherlock tells Laura about the truth about Mister Stapleton, she spills all the secrets. If the two women did not love and cover for Mister Stapleton, they would not have kept the secrets.
