A deaf person composed beautiful music. Ludwig Van Beethoven, a deaf german composer was born in December 16, 1770 in the city of Bonn in the Electorate of Cologne, a principality of Roman Empire. He was a predominant musical Figure in transitional period between the Classical and Romantic era. In his lifetime he changed the music to something more exciting and surprising from aristocracy music which changed the music around the world. Beethoven had two younger brothers, Caspar, born in 1774, and Johann, born in 1776. Beethoven's mother, was Maria Magdalena van Beethoven. He himself said, "Music comes to me more readily than words." At the age of 10 in 1781, Beethoven withdrew from school to study music with Christian Gottlob Neefe, an assigned Court Organist. Neefe introduced Beethoven to Bach, and at the age of twelve Beethoven published his first composition, As years went by he composed music piece after piece that marked him as a adroit composer with his ability. His "Six String Quartets," published in 1801, demonstrates complete mastery of that most difficult and cherished of Viennese forms developed by Mozart and Haydn. Beethoven also composed The Creatures of Prometheus in 1801, it was a popular ballet that received 27 performances at the Imperial Court Theater. While composing his great works, Beethoven was struggling to come to terms with a terrible news, one that he desperately tried to hide. He was going deaf. He loss his hearing in his early 30s and by 1819 he was completely deaf. At that point of time he was devastated by his loss of his hearing but he was passionate about music that it didn’t stop him from composing music.
