How Did Christianity Affect Its Followers

Christianity is one of the most popular religions to this day. How it survived so much persecution from all other beliefs is nothing more than a miracle. It probably has been around so long simply because of the effect it has on people. For this reason Christianity has been rivaled by many other religions over the years often leading to wars and death due to personal beliefs. Christianity has had a long rich history and everyday another page is added to it’s since its followers are so string minded. Christianity is believed to have been started the first decade, around the time many would say that Jesus died. In the teachings of Christianity Jesus was portrayed to be a Jewish man. It is also common knowledge that Christianity was formed out of Judaism, hence why they share some similarities. Christians are often rivaled by Muslims, Buddhist, Jewish, and less commonly known but most importantly they were rivaled by the Roman Empire. Many believe that Christianity was the cause of the fall of the Roman Empire. The Roman Empire was huge and believed in paganism. With paganism there is not much to believe in, people just did what they wanted to do. With this understanding of paganism you can easily see why the romans had much conflict …show more content…

When people convert to Christianity they often change their whole lifestyle, in the eyes of most it is often considered to be a change that betters that person. This is probably so common because once one reads the book of Christianity they come across promises of a perfect afterlife if they live their current life by that book. This appeals to the masses because many people are not content with the life they live because of what they go through daily, hunger, poverty, past experiences, or pain. When one reads this book they more than likely get inspired by knowing that it is never too late to change the life that you live to go on to bigger and better things
