Thesis Henry Ford Changed the world by making the first car that was affordable to everyone even though at first people were scared of them and still used a horse and carriage. A few started buying them and then people started to buy them all over the world. He became a well know inventor around the world.

Henry Ford was born July 30, 1863 on a farm located in Greenfield Township, Michigan. His father, William Ford was born in Cork, Ireland in 1826. He came with his parents to America in 1847. About 1850 he started working for the O’Herns, which is when he met Mary Litogot. His, mother Mary Ford was born in Michigan in 1839 she was the youngest in her family. Her parents died when she was about 10 years old. Henry got a job at Edison Illuminating Company in Detroit. “In 1891 they left their home to move to the city because of Henry’s job.” When he got the job he and his wife had to move back to Detroit. Clara said that she was very sad to leave the farm. Henry became chief engineer at the Edison Illuminating Company in 1893. That same year he became a father on November 6th. Henry’s First Car After they moved he started working on his idea of a horseless carriage. First he made a gas engine so it could run on gas and was easy to carry a round on a car. I’m going to give you some insight on a Henry Ford, and how and why he revolutionized our country. Without him we wouldn’t be the America we are today. Henry Ford is one of the main factors that played a part in winning World War 2. He had ideas; great brain storms that would become reality to help the American people in all factors of their daily lives. So Henry Ford helped us win the war. He also figured out how to make a car that was reliable, cheap, and fast to make. Then after all that was said and done he even paid his workers the most and hired anyone that had the qualification to work for him. Henry Ford made America a better place for the people.

He would revolutionize the American transportation system by creating one of the first automobiles, he would also create the world's first functioning assembly line. His name is Henry Ford. Henry's dream of the automobile started with the production of his first auto, on June fourth 1896, the primitive auto was named the quadracycle. Not exactly a modern auto the Quadracycle was reminiscent to a babbycarrige on bicycle wheels but was a start to Ford's empire and the development of the automobile for the people. Many saw Henry's potential and helped him to find a successor to the Quadracycle; one such person was the Mayor of Detroit, William Mayburg who provided financial support to Ford to continue his research. Generous investors such as this and the help of four investors donating 10,000 dollars each led to the official founding of the Ford Motor Co. in 1901.
