Isaac Newton This report is on how Isaac Newton contributed to math and humanity. He was a great mathematician and physician. He was called Sir Isaac Newton because in Britain, his physics were so advanced it was a great honor. He was also known as being one of the smartest person who lived in the 17th century Science Revolution. He published his most well-known book, Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy, 1961. Isaac was born on January 4, 1643 in Woolsthorpe, England. His father died before he was born and when he was three years old his mother remarried and moved away. He was left there to live with his uncle and was sent to the local grammar school. He signed up for Trinity College in 1961 and received his bachelor of arts in 1665. …show more content…

Him discovering calculus made a powerful impact in completing difficult math problems. Aside from these studies, he also made the three laws of motion.
The first law is The Law of Inertia. an object remains still unless an unbalanced force comes into contact with it. Something that continues to move at the same speed and direction can’t be stopped unless contacted with an unbalanced force. The second law states that the greater the mass of an object is, the more force you need to put into it. For example, if you kick a brick wall it’ll probably hurt your foot a little. This is because there isn’t enough force to move the wall. However, if you try kicking a ball, you will succeed with ease because a great amount of force isn’t needed for it to accelerate. The mathematical equation it can be written is; F=MA or force=mass times acceleration.
According to the Newton’s third law, for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. This means that every force has a force that reacts to it equally, but in the opposite direction. For example, when a rocket starts its engine, the fire pushes at the ground so hard that it makes it lift
