Malcolm X After the Civil War and slavery was no longer tolerated in the United States Africans were still discriminated against. Although a famous leader known by Martin Luther King Jr., or MLK, would also be an activist who would try to change segregation in the same. Malcolm X wasn’t as big in history, but his historian effect contributes to the Africans and their civil rights movement against segregation, just like MLK. The website, http://malcolmx.com/ , will give me insight on his belief and how he tried to help with the civil rights movement. This website will also inform me of some his speeches that were given and a small background of his history growing up. I believe Malcolm X did more for the African American community and I hope to find more information on how he helped in this time. I thought the website would show how his actions and movement helped and effected the Civils Rights movement. Although, it did have a biography that was very interesting along with videos of his speeches. This website is still a great website or an introduction to researching Malcolm X. When it comes to websites that are focused one a certain subject, you should briefly review the website before using it for research or studying. It is probably better to find a website that will match facts with books, or even find scholarly websites. Websites can be a great source of information when studying, but it is always to make sure your source is not misleading and the facts are all correct because to learn the wrong information can be a terrible effect to your education.
