Many things contributed to the change during the Renaissance Era, but Leonardo da Vinci, Martin Luther, and women's rights influenced the most profound change. Firstly, Martin Luther spoke up , and was independent. He lead others to voice their opinions and want to be independent as well. He changed religion and society’s perception of church. The church was looked at as the center of everyone’s life, and this is what changed because of Martin Luther. Another thing that influenced change was the perception of women. During the Middle Ages, a women’s roles consisted of mainly housework and protecting their home. This is because they were seen as less than men. During the Renaissance this changed as society started to accept women as intellectuals
