Mass transit can help reduce the amount of emissions that are released into the air from cars. It will also help with the amount of congestion on the highways. Having less people on the highways would have people getting to work faster, both those who are go on mass transit and those who are driving their car. Some challenges to mass transit is that some people are too far out from mass transit lines. People who live out in the country do not live near train stations or bus stops. Or sometimes bus stops do not go near someones work. Another mass transit problem that Connecticut has, is that there are no subways.
