The festival had been getting aids and donations from some sources but they are not suitable to be relied on. With a permanent and strong sponsor, the festival would receive higher revenues and would be able to offer more shows and entertainment for the adults and youngsters. More entertainment would increase the number of attendees and also spread the word of mouth across the country. However, this alternative has a limited impact as it would increase the revenue but not affect the other things severely. The sponsors can also help resolve the issue of residence or staying for the attendees of the festival.
One of the points that was brought up was that donating may potentially cause suffering to one’s self as they work hard for their money. They work hard and strive for what they want (affluence). Working a full time job in order to be broke, unhappy, and struggling like those in Bengal, for example, would be a disgrace and disappointing. Not only that, but people will also bring up the fact that if not everyone in society or in the world donates and gets away with not feeling guilty, so why should they feel obligated to so and contribute their efforts towards something that doesn’t directly affect

Oxfam is a tax exempt meaning that they do not have to pay any tax. Also, registered non-profits have limited liability under the law when it comes to dept. the owner of the business are not responsible for the business debt. Non-profits also have access to government-sponsored and loans. They strive to bring positive energy to those in poverty and they try to put a smile on their face to make very day a brighter day. Oxfam works with original and trees strait islander people and strive to answer all the problems these people might have. On the Oxfam website they tell us that they have helped the self determination for individuals along with communities for over 30 years. the reason for doing this to help social and cultural well being.
Due to the high success rate of Oxfam, they now have over 90 stores all over the world and over 100,000 employees and volunteers. However that doesn’t include the people which participate in fundraisers: such as fun runs, festivals, cycling and running events to support the charity. The Oxfam Headquarters is located in Cowley, Oxford. As a multinational charitable organisation, Oxfam has many supporters, nevertheless, they still want to better themselves and help more people. As they’re a charity based organisation, their aim isn’t to make a profit but to make a lot of money which they will then spend on helping people.
Social Factors The social factors within Oxfam can be linked to the technological factors. Firstly, may people have felt pressure to charities because they feel as though they are being selfish if they do not help those in need. As more and more people being to donate to charities, there is more pressure for others to donate as this will yet again make individuals feel selfish if they are the only ones not donating to charity. I addition to some individuals feeling selfish, there are always picture of charity work on social media which will help to show those willing to help just what the charities are doing, in addition to this, there are many pictures of those that are being helped on social media and this may sometimes lead the viewer to feel as though they could do more to help those in need a suffering and so more people will be donating.
