You can now see the magnitude of the problem with the lack of blood donation. STEP 3. Satisfaction III. Fortunately, it is the problem that can be easily solved. All you have to do is to go to the nearest Red Cross and donate your blood. A. For those of you who have never donated blood, the process is so simple, easy and fast. 1. First, you fill the donor information form that questions about your sexual history and health. 2. You will then receive the mini physical. 3. They will take a drop of blood from your finger to measure the percent red blood cells in your blood. 4. Then, they will check your blood pressure as well as water temperature and pulse. So you are not only saving lives by donating blood but you are also checking your own. 5. After physical, you will be asked after which time you choose to donate. 6. Then you will be asked to lie on the donor chair. 7. A staff member will clean your arm and insert a non-reuse able needle in it. 8. After a pint of blood has been taken which usually takes 10 minutes, you will be asked to relax for 10 to 15 minutes you enjoy snacks and cookies. 9.
