Bullies. People say they want to be them, but why I must ask. Bullies, make it there life mission to torment others to make them feel hopeless, unwanted and feel as though if they committed suicide everything would be better. I have always wondered why bullies are bullies are they upset with their lives that they make it there life mission to ruin others as well? I don’t know. But the thing is that many kids sometimes adults suffer from bullying some more severely than others.
Bullying includes verbal, social, physical the worst one, and cyber which is online bullying. You have probably been bullied when you were a kid or not, but if you were bullied as a kid, i’m sorry. You should tell the teacher or fight back with is the option you should or shouldn’t do but if you do fight back, it’s either you get caught by the teacher or tell the teacher. Bullying is something that is repetitive over time, and has to do with 2 people and one usually has the upper hand. Mostly, between a popular and unpopular kid. As a student in Jerling Junior High I was bullied and was known to be a bully. I was bullied for a whole year by my best friend. I was known to be a bully to my good friend. In the end, we all made up and went our own ways. I researched middle school bullying because it is a huge problem and I learned how different types of bullying happens in school, how some kids believe that harming themselves is a solution, and even how teachers get bullied, not just students.

Bullying is a worldwide problem that can be linked to teen suicide. The third leading cause of death in youth is suicide, which results in nearly 4,400 deaths per year (Centers for Disease Control, 2012). At least half of these deaths are caused by bullying. Although bullying is still seen by many to be a normal part of growing up, it is a severe problem that leads to many negative effects, including suicide. Unfortunately, there is not a definitive solution to this problem. However, there are multiple ways to help teens who are contemplating suicide due to bullying: seeking immediate medical help, encouraging teens to talk, parents keeping communication open, and by parents communicating with school authorities.

Students or others might become a bully because they might have been bullied themselves. Bullies are worse than bystanders because they are the blame for suicide, make students feel weaker, they can lose the trust of family and friends, and they make people feel hopeless. Hopefully one day in the future there will be a stop to bullying so that every seven seconds, no child is bullied. That's a future that many will look up to.
