Kelly Rowland has always spoke highly of Janet and her love for the iconic performer. Back in 2010 Kelly recreated Janet Jackson's "I Get Lonely" music video for her performance of the song "Motivation." Janet Jackson's impact on pop culture goes beyond the music. She's had a lasting impression on everything from fashion, movies, and hair. Britney may be the princes of pop, but Janet is the queen. In the video for "Stronger," Britney does the exact same dance routine as Janet Jackson's "Miss You Much" choreography. Elements of Janet's musical style are evident in Kat Graham's musics. The singer have openly express her love for Janet and all that she's accomplished. She even channels a younger Janet Jackson in her mashup of Jackson's "Love

Opera music prominently influenced music in the trying times of the 1960’s. An example of this is Elvis Presley’s hit single, “It’s Now or Never.” What is unknown about this famous song is that it is heavily influenced by the renowned Italian opera song, “O Sole Mio” by Giovanni Capurro, Eduardo di Capua, and Alfredo Mazzucchi. Presley also borrowed many other musical themes and elements from historical music such as melodies, chord progressions, themes of lyrics, harmonies, and more. In brief, these two pieces, despite being written 62 years apart, have much in common, and prove the withstanding effect of influence in music throughout the years.
All three of these songs had a significant part popular culture and helped make Michael Jackson's mark in the music industry. Below, I will analyze the song's musical characteristics based on why the songs had become such tremendous hits, the history and song meaning behind the lyric, and how the song performed on the charts in the past and present. Michael is not just a leader, but the leader, and by analyzing the songs Thriller, Beat It, and Billie Jean, it is very easy to tell how he became such an international superstar and forever musical legend.
The hit song “Halo” was performed by Beyoncé Knowles. Ryan Tedder (lead vocalist of OneRepublic), Evan Bogart and Beyoncé composed it. “Halo” will always be one of my favorite Beyoncé songs because she sings it with such a powerful voice that fits with the song and the lyrics, also not to mention the deep meaning behind the song. The great storyline and bold lyrics was a huge factor in choosing to analyze this song. I like to listen to Beyoncé songs and some of my favorites are: 7/11, If I were a Boy, Flawless, Love on Top and Lemonade. In my opinion, Beyoncé is and always will be a music legend.
Throughout her music career she was inspired by many of music’s greats. “I watched people like Dolly Parton. Dolly knows who she is. She’s smart. She’s not just a blonde with (a big bust), she is a genius under there. She literally came from nothing, and now you go anywhere in the world, and they know Dolly Parton” (Miley, Entertainment interview) Dolly
