“For never was a story of more woe than this of Juliet and her Romeo.” This quote gives closure to the play as it states that the conflict between the two families is pointless and has caused them both so much unnecessary grief. The whole play is based around the forceful hate shared between the two families when suddenly, an unexpected romance between Romeo and Juliet blossoms. While this may seem a bit cynic, Shakespeare’s works are known to be tragic with the main characters often dying so I feel that suspense, dramatic irony, and tragedy are very important elements he uses.
