Of mice and men John Steinbeck describes a world where the American dream simple yet hard to achieve . Steinbeck paints a powerful portrait of American in the 1930’s. Steinbeck reveals the struggles during the great depression. Lennie and George are two men who travel around to find a job they really like or love . They found the job they wanted and they met good and nice people like slim and candy and some bad people like Curley and curley’s wife. But they are all lonely and isolated. Curley’s wife is one of the loneliest characters in the novella because she is the only lady, she got her dreams take away, Got mistreated.

On page “ I always thought my old lady stole it and other text evidence on page 88 “ I asked her if she stole it,too and she says no”. He says that he was gonna put the moves on them. Soon as as he got to Hollywood he was going to write about me. She had to marry carry because she was deemed . she was isolated and probably even dry days. I wonder what would happen if she never married Curley. She basically don't have nothing going on between them .
Being attacked like curley's wife is something no one would like to go through. Curly wife was mistreated by everyone expected Lennie because in the text it said “ but just let two of the guys get together and you won't talk”. Just nothing but mad “ (page 77) in these past years i have seen a lot of people in school and in public being mistreated for no dumb reason. All that I think Curley cares is about himself and treats everyone that's is around him with respect like if they were one of his toys
