Monica, you made some very good points. It can be difficult supervising an employee like Daniel who works the night shift alone when you work another shift. As a concern supervisor, Vera should have an one-to-one relationship with him by monitoring, communicating, making judgements, and providing feedback to him about his work performance. The best way to do this is to drop-in unannounced periodically. Also, Vera should have the other department supervisor to check on Daniel from time to time. Another way is to validate whether work in getting done is to have Daniel to keep a work log of activities done with beginning and ending times. This way Vera can get an idea of how much time is spent on each task.
After watching “The Odd Couple” I was astonished by how outstanding the actors were. I was instantly drawn to the show and loved every act of it. Personally, I liked Vera’s performance who is played by Shakiba Shadman and Manolo Costazuela who is played by Adam Mercado. They were very entertaining and they portrayed their role very well. Vera is basically a girl who is not very intelligent and she is enthusiastic. Manolo Costazuela is a Spanish man who lives with his brother and he wants to find himself a new girlfriend. Manolo’s character is very hard to play because he has a Spanish accent which makes it difficult. However, Adam Mercado played the character well by doing the Spanish accent and being humorous. On the other hand, Shakiba Shadman played Vera really well because it is extremely tough to play a foolish character. Shakima Shadman portrayed Vera well and made her likeable rather than annoying. They both were very good actors and they did not
I have had a lot of issues on first and third. I had to move Paul to third because of the many issues on first. From what I have observed is disabled. He is a diabetic that can not afford his meds. He is almost blind, and he is losing his strength to even stand up. Paul has almost fell to the floor twice while talking to me as I set at the desk. He as stumbled and fell several time, once he fell and turned his cart over. I am still gathering info on the third shift issue. I moved Tara to first, because an employee came in to the cage and got her number and called her, then later followed her home and ran the doorbell. I am trying to get the guys name. Ruse did not seam to know his name when described to him. All issues have been discussed in

There are times that there is the one nurse that seems to be notoriously late for their shift or always calling off. The manager not mentoring this nurse on this behavior causes disruption within the unit and division. Not following policy in disciplinary actions causes a lot of unwanted disharmony amongst the nurses. If disruptive behavior continues being overlooked or if the behavior is endured for long periods of time causes even more dissonance. There needs to be a team accountablity plan in place for responsiblities and to renew personal
I make sure that the staff are aware that the supervision is confidential but the recordings are accessible by the professional if there is a need and also the staff can get an access to their notes any time.

AT 7.15AM I CLOCK IN AND TAKE MY COAT AND BAG OFF AND LOCK THEM IN MY LOCKER SO I AM READY TO START MY SHIFT STRAIGHT AWAY, EVEN THOUGH I SOMETIMES SOCIALISE WITH SOME OF THE STAFF I WORK WITH I ENSURE I AM IN THE RIGHT FRAME OF MIND TO WORD PROFFESIONALLY WITH THEM AND NOT PERSONALLY SO THAT WE ARE ABLE TO WORK AS PART OF A TEAM AND ARE ABLE TO DO THE JOBS THAT WE ARE EMPLOYED TO DO, THEN I WILL WALK INTO THE DINING ROOM TO WAIT FOR THE NIGHTSTAFF WHO ARE ON, ONCE ALL THE STAFF FOR THE MORNING SHIFT HAVE ARRIVED THE SENIOR MEMBER OF THE NIGHT SHIFT WILL GIVE HANDOVER TO ALL THE STAFF WHO ARE STARTING THE MORNING SHIFT. THEY WILL GO THROUGH THE LIST OF RESIDENTS
All employees are full of eagerness and enthusiasm for each work day. In our branch, each employee, except the branch manager, comes to work half an hour before opening and clocks out anytime after everything is taken care of, even after hours. There are 6 employees, including myself: branch manager, Phong, a middle-aged Vietnamese male, and assistant manager, Jordan, a Japanese adult male. There are three management trainees (MT): Tiana, a Pacific Islander adult female; Seneca, a Filipino-Hawaiian young adult female, Natasha, a Caucasian young adult female. Lastly, there is I, a Filipino college student as a management trainee intern. The office is evidently a diverse

Moreover, most shifts run into each other with day shifts extending into the night and night shifts extending into the day. This means that their circadian rhythms are distorted. Extended shift work for nurses eventually lead to them finding it difficult to adapt to normal life or any activities outside work.
A member of staff who regularly works for at least 3 hours during the night period are referred to as night workers. The night period is between the hours of 11pm to 6am, unless the worker and employer agree a different night period but this must include midnight to 5am and the shift must be at least 7 hours long. This must be agreed in writing.

The capital asset pricing model (CAPM) was proposed by Sharpe (1964) –Lintner (1965) whom had relied on the Markowitz mean–variance-efficiency model, in the mean – variance –efficiency model investors are supposed to be risk-averse during one time period and they only care about the expected returns and the variance of returns (risk). These investors choose only efficient portfolios with minimum variance, given expected return, and maximum expected return, and variance. The Expected returns and variance plot a parabola, and points above its global minimum identify a mean–Variance - efficient frontier of risky assets.
