Influences of American Culture When you hear the words American Culture what to do tend to think about? When I hear the words American Culture I tend to think about society, and how it has influenced my life. Society itself is influenced by the people and the culture within it. When actors or actresses dress differently or try something new, other people will do the same thing. When you have a culture that heavily populates an area, that culture will be heavenly influenced in that area. There may be restaurants or stores that will carry the cultures products. Therefore, Americans do not realize that American Culture impacts them every day. When they go shopping for new clothes at the store that a friend posted about on their Snapchat and when they decided to try something new to eat at a new restaurant they found on Yelp. American was dominated by the image of the melting pot that “melts up” all race differences and cultures to become on American culture. Those groups have integrated their own customs to Americans and at the same time, have made American customs part of their lives. In that enormous alloy called Americans, you can meet diverse kinds of persons, languages, foods and words. At the same time, specific traits make this culture as any other unique. The early European explorers had a profound impact on the population and culture of early America. The moment that Christopher Columbus set foot on one of the Islands of the Bahamas, the world would drastically change for many of the Native Americans. The Aztec people of central and South America, or Mesoamerica, had a very advanced and complex society that they established in approximately 1428, that would undergo a transformation and descent from dominance that they could never have imagined. The arrival of the Spanish conquistadors and Christianity were the single greatest contributions to the fall of the Aztec Empire and the cultural transformation that occurred in the 1500s. This in turn led to the Spanish colonization of the Americas and the eventual transformation to the world as we know it now.

Over the past several centuries the world has changed in a countless number of ways. From colonialism to slavery, the industrial revolution to the World Wars, and the modern day technological boom, America in particular has often been right in the middle of all of the transformations. One such movement, romanticism, emphasized emotions, abstract thought, and individual self. On the other hand, an opposite movement known as neoclassicism, or sometimes just classicism, emphasized a more old school approach to life. The institutions and government organizations show a lot of interest towards their profit, but least interest towards the growth of the nation as a whole. Investors bought the skills and potentials of intelligent people for their own profit. There
