INTRODUCTION
Two or three decades ago, employees were expected to work full time. Since the Global Financial Crisis more and more private companies have followed a Government initiative to allow more flexible working arrangements. As flexible work practice becomes more and more common in people’s work life, it becomes an important topic in human resource management, because it has a deep influence upon both companies and employees. It is evident that flexible work practices can benefit an organization in terms of productivity and costs by improving job satisfaction and reducing an organisations costs. FLEXIBLE WORK OPTIONS.

Flexibility has become a key issue in organizations and human resource management. It represents a real and intriguing challenge that all members within a company must confront. In general, flexible working practices have seven options and these flexible work options affect all elements of work, such as working time, working places, work content, reward schemes, and all flexible work options have both advantages and disadvantages. Therefore it makes both employers and employees think about the new definition of work and the way work is undertaken in their organizations.

1. Part-time work

Part-time work offers flexibility for employers to better take advantage of employees, and “more effectively and efficiently manage the delivery of services to customers. Generally speaking, part-time workers in the same company have fewer turnovers than any other employee category. Part-time work provides benefits to both employers and employees because it allows for more flexible working places and employees can be allowed to opt for their suitable working patterns.
