ocker that I now crumble against. As soon as our eyes met, I knew my life would be changed forever. He knew too by the small smile he returned to me. Being with Jacob was like spring. Everything was so new and exciting. We had no idea what was going to come, uncertainty was around us all the time, but we knew that just being with each other made us happier than anything we had ever felt before. Every day I woke up with him on my mind, and I couldn’t wait to get up and get to see him. One of the thrills of being with Jacob was that my parents didn’t approve. I knew that at any moment I could be caught with him, and if this happened I would lose my parents trust forever. I was always on edge. My adrenaline rushing waiting to see how the day would end. My first kiss was joined by my racing heart, so loud I couldn’t hear anything else, and my legs quivering so badly I almost fell when he let go of me. That first kiss was addictive. All of my worries and concerns were replaced with him. All I cared about was when I would get to be with him again, feel his arms pulling me tightly against him, and his warm lips molding with mine. I couldn’t get enough of him. Our love went from spring, so unsure, to summer, confident and wanting. We might as well have been dead when we weren’t together. My heart ached when I had to leave him, and things I used to love doing just weren’t the same because I couldn’t be with him. That first kiss was just the start to my life changing forever.
