Managers in organizations that use this form of trial and error or creative culture can employ the true potential of input and output of employee’s and processes. It is vital for organizations to use managers to develop positive culture, in order to be successful. Pitta, Wood and Franzak (2008) state that organizations that value creativity as an integral part of the organizations culture will be able to develop thriving processes which leads to attaining intended goals desired by the organization. “The ability to be creative is now a decisive source of competitive advantage. Creativity offers the potential of developing new methods, markets and opportunities.” (Pitta, Wood and Franzak, 2008, p.138). Managers that develop and use creativity as part of an organizations culture are in the right step in developing, effective and efficient employee’s and organizational processes to meet the overall organizational goals. Culture itself can be seen to be the underlying influence that controls how an organization is maintained as stated by Brown (1992). Understanding and developing effective and creative culture, can only develop the foundations of a successful organization. Furthermore the drawbacks stated by Pitta, Wood and Franzak (2008) are when managers and top executives fail to prioritise creative culture as a fundamental part of a successful organization.
