Introduction: This report was commissioned to examine how Manco Abbott and their employees can have a better understanding and control over social media and the problems that can arise from it. Manco Abbott should create a management strategy and guidelines for their employees to follow to limit potential problems that can arise from social media. Also, our group examined solutions to provide Manco Abbott with information that will help their company’s core competencies, selection and performance management.

Therefore, in the guideline, the firm has to address a clear strategy and policies of the control of social media for their community manager, and it has to reflect the value, objective, and mission of Manco Abbott. Secondly, Manco Abbott’s high management should create a system that helps the firm to have more opportunities of internal communication among all employees in the organization. Manco Abbott should encourage weekly meetings between community managers and assistants to find solutions to solve tenant’s issues in accordance to social media. The firm should strictly schedule routine meetings for representatives from different departments to discuss and solve the most appealing issues that they are facing regarding social media. Additionally, the firm should offer a social media-training program within the organization that is designed for community managers and assistants. This special training program should focus on solving tenant 's issues via social media in the most appropriate ways without damaging the firm’s reputation. Second recommendation, Manco Abbott should offer training and certification programs for their employees by set up a training and certification programs that require all managers to attendance. Manco Abbott should set up a training seminar for managers and assistants and test them to be certified on how to effectively run the social media regards to their firm’s policy.
