The hardships and good times we have, have over time helped to shape who we become. Music can shape who someone becomes by listening to it for comfort, grieving, celebratory reasons, and a way to get away from everything. There was a period in my life when I gave careful consideration to music. This time, is known as youth. I was excessively occupied with my Ninja Turtles and G.I. Joes to try and consider music. This shouldn't imply that I didn't hear it out, however. Regardless of the frightful music we know so warmly call "the 80's" that was playing on the radio stations when a was a kid, despite everything I tuned in. I began focusing when I was nine years of age, and that is the point at which my tribulation with music all began. To pick up a superior comprehension of how music has changed my life throughout the years, we should begin from the earliest starting point of my musical learning course of events.
Music has always played an important role in my life. Even as a student of film, I tell stories inspired by song lyrics, for the words, rhythms, and instruments of rock music have impacted my life to an unimaginable extent. Whenever I edit video, the underscore is vital. When I write a script, there 's a poetic sound, a lyricism to the dialogue. I would not even be here in Los Angeles if not for artists such as Courtney Love and Jared Leto, who cross boundaries between music and film. In particular, Jared Leto 's career is something to behold. An award-winning actor, director, musician, and pure artist, Leto epitomizes my creative values: never settle, and don 't be afraid to be dedicated to whatever you want to do.
I am impressed by the wide range of programs offered to your students. I have attended and participated in many events at the nearby University of Wisconsin Platteville campus. The UW-Platteville Center for the Arts there greatly enriched my childhood. UW- Platteville’s continued support of music, drama, and cultural events has influenced my views and has benefitted my hometown, Mineral Point in a positive way.

Music. When I started in the band in 8th grade at Saints Francis and Clare, I didn’t really want to be there. It was just another class, in another day, of my last year of school. This began to change after I realized all of the amazing people I met in the band. Band led me to be happier and become friends with people who I never even knew I would meet. It has even lead me to a path that I would like to go into in the future. I love music and band so much that it has made me want to teach it or join a band as I go into college and just for the rest of my life. Through music I have even had the opportunity to meet some very amazing people, and I have been able to work next to some of those people.

As a young educated African American women, I value up holding a strong reputation, equality, and being unbiased. Throughout my life I have notice how judgmental and hypocritical our society has become, which has not only impacted the way we view each other but it has also changed our values and morals. However, in order to understand our society you must understand what has impacted it over the years and one of those was music.
I agree with you . I’m also not a music major student and this is also my first music class. It was also my first time hearing about this 5 amazing music artist. After listening to the same song such as "Where Have All the Flowers Gone" by Pete Seeger, "You Know I Love You" by B. B. King, "Purple Rain" by Prince, "The Spirit of India" by Ravi Shankar and "Big River" by Kongar Ol Ondar. They all have elements in there music that brings people together. When I was in elementary school, I was passionate in music. After I entered high school, I have been told by my family and friends that I cannot make a living through music, so I decided to look for a different path for myself. I studied in science at high school and graduating in Finance from University. I cannot deny that education imparted by schools have helped me to balance my life and my personal goals when I grow older. I totally agree with Elliot “schools are essentially institutions created to serve the interests of the society” (Eisner, 1985, p.74). Our public schools have evolved historically to educate citizens and to process them into roles for economic production. I have been going to school for much of my life, I think my schooling has taught me the fundamental knowledge and skills I needed to survive in the society.
Music can play many different roles in someone’s life. Personally, music has played a good role in my life. For example, listening to music to get me pumped up before a game or to just have fun and dance with my friends. The music I listen to typically depends on what mood I am in. My ability to sing along with my favorite song is good, but being able to sing the right note or tune is not so great.
Imagine you and your friends are going to a movie at the theater. You all file in and sit down just as the opening credits start. It starts out as a black screen and slowly fades into a battle scene. One knight comes into the main focus of the audience. He is lying on the ground hit and is going to die. You can hear a voice from the screen reading dramatic dialog, but that’s all you can hear. No background sounds, no instruments, and no music only voices. What would it be like? No music through a whole movie. Would it change the way you experience the movie? “Music is so powerful, it can change everything about a film.” (Bond 44-45) Music has a big purpose for being here. It can even change a life for the better or worst.
Music, it's a part of everyone's life. From childhood sing-a-long songs, to garage grunge music, and everything in between music is everywhere. Growing up with an extremely musical background it was in my genes that I would become a musician. Playing music has helped me become the person I am by being a release for my anger, broadening my future and make new friends..
