ABSTRACT
Car to car communication is a leading technology that may hit the market in upcoming two –three years .The technology that warns for imminent collision will be in cars soon and it will help car to transit their position, speed, steering wheel position and other data with other cars within 100 meters. Many cars have tools that use radar or ultrasound to identify the hurdle but the range of sensor is limited to certain length and they can’t detect the obstacle. So this technology which use higher-level technology which can be helpful in many prospects. Technologies thatC2C Communication uses are Dedicated short range communication (DSRC), Wireless LAN, GPRS, CLOUD, Mesh Network, This technology is reviewed by MIT and General

2.2 Wi-Fi network
Because one of the possible frequencies is 5.9GHz, which is used by WiFi, but it’s more accurate to say “Wi-Fi-like.” The range is up to 300 meters or 1000 feet or about 10 seconds at highway speeds (not 3 seconds as some reports say).
2.3 Mesh Network
Car-to-car communication would be a mesh network, which means every node (car, smart traffic signal, brakes etc.) can transmit, capture and retransmit signals. Approximately five to ten hops on the network would congregate traffic state a mile ahead. That would be sufficient time for even the most inattentive driver to take care off.
2.4 GPRS (General Packet Radio Service)
• A packet-switched technology that allows data communications.
• GPRS is a packet-based wireless communication service that provides data rates from 56 up to 114 kbps
• It supports a wide range of bandwidths.
2.5 CLOUD In car the sensor and actuator device requires to closely work with each other. Each car needs to cooperate with other car in car-to-car (c2c) in order to share and make use of external resources in an efficient way. To ease the interaction between drivers and another car driver and world, a vehicle cloud (Cloud) architecture with real time services is introduced. The implementation of cloud computing is economical.
By performing the cloud computing
Self driving vehicles is a huge change in our society. We are taking the next step into the future and creating something bigger than ever. Driverless cars can be a good thing and a bad thing in todays society. We depend on so many things now, the older we get and the more time goes on, the lazier we get. Being Americans, we are putting our thoughts and ideas to the ultimate test to create something so dangerous but so efficient. We have thought of ideas that would make our lives "easier" and less stressful. In this paper I will describe how driverless cars work, the current problems and setbacks that we are having, and how this new technology is being put to use today.
Imagine being able to get into your car and simply typing in your desired destination, and then reclining your seat to watch a movie or text a friend. During this time, the car is basically driving itself. Well, soon this may be possible this invention is called an autonomous car. An autonomous car, or driverless/ robotic car, is a car that is designed to drive without human interference. Essentially, drivers can program their destination into the car’s GPS system and then sit back and relax. Some of the world’s largest car companies are currently creating autonomous vehicles, such as Audi, Toyota, Volvo, Mercedes, and countless others. The driverless vehicle is now becoming a clearer and more present reality, and has been discussed and planned for decades. The autonomous vehicle offers significant benefits, but raises many questions and difficulties.
Cars are something that almost every person has or will use in their everyday life or need to use their car to get to and from work or school everyday. Well in this paper you will learn about what technology has done to change the Automotive Industry as well as your everyday life. This paper will be focusing on the Technologies inside of the car, along with the Technologies that keep you safe and also a little bit about Self-Driving Cars. So fasten your seatbelts while you are reading this paper.
WiMAX can transmit speeds up to 50km at 280mbps, and provides options for use in point to point and multipoint configurations.
Distracted driving is becoming the one of the highest causes of fatal accidents in youth. People are becoming more and more dependent on their mobile phones due to the economic and social benefits they provide. With advancement of technology and the more widespread use of smartphones distracted driving is become more dangerous than driving impaired. Driving itself needs full focus and attention with new technologies more focused on making mobile phones more easily compatible with cars it has become increasingly difficult to eliminate the problem cell phones and mobile phones cause when linked to each other. Studies show those using mobile devices while driving are 4-6 times more likely to get into a accident, With the risk so high many cell phone use while driving has been banned in many different countries around the world(fatal distractions). The second alternative is hands-free devices allowing drivers to accept calls, compile and send text messages with ought the use of hands, but using a mobile phone whether it be hands-free or not still hinders performance and deviates the focus of the driver. Car companies have recently countered this issue by implementing new technology in vehicles. For instance, cars now come equipped with built in blue tooth and exceptional pairing applications. This technology leads to inconclusive results of using a hand-held device.

Wireless DSL is a type of fixed wireless which requires a line of sight between communicating transmitters. Unfortunately; this makes its application limited, because in order to be effective, it requires tall buildings or towers. Most multitenant buildings such as hotels, remote office buildings and apartments use this. Transmitters are what connect the building to the ISP, and the DSL used inside the building connects to the wireless transceiver. Fixed wireless can be point to point or multipoint. Satellite is another form of fixed wireless. Both the point-to-point and multipoint versions have data transmissions ranging from 1.5 to 54 Mbps, dependent on the vendor. Mobile wireless service can be set up by the provider in a package one the WAP network protocol is fixed to support it. (Wireless Application Environment) (Fitzgerald, 349-350).
All goals must be measurable to then measure the progress towards the successful outcome, to measure progress is to monitor and access success and achievement.
The use of IoT in the development of autonomous vehicles has led to the general reduction of fatalities (Sheng et.al, 2013). The reduction of fatalities is from the following aspects of driverless cars which are improved on by the use of IoT in the vehicle technology.
5G is the fifth generation wireless broadband technology based on the IEEE 802.11ac standard. 5G is provide high speed then 3G and 4G. 5G operates on 5GHZ signal and set is to offer speed up to 1 GB/s.
The deceleration of vehicle speed is demonstrated successfully with the embedded system. Along with this, android based notification system consisting of image and voice output worked efficiently during the testing of embedded system. This work in progress opens opportunities for additional analysis and implementations. The measuring characteristics of sensors are for low speed conditions. When applied in higher speed situations, high-end and enhanced senors with higher range can be implemented. The notification app developed is only for android platform, in future the application can be ported to other
Both of these technologies have extraordinary promises to one day be a nature utilize tool in the world we live in. Car to Car Communication and Driverless Cars both have pros and cons against them but do we really want to live in a world where technology is integrated to cars. A similarity between both are that we have to trust technology to be a significant part of our vehicles when we drive or our cars drive. A difference between both are that car-to-car communication and driverless vehicles are is that with car to car communication a person is still driving the car and with driverless cars no one is driving since the car has control. In addition, I believe I would rather prefer car-to-car communication rather than driverless driving because
Will you be driving KIT from the Knight Rider TV series? Well not exactly, but your car will be communicating with you to keep you safer. In the article car “Car-to-Car Communication”, Knight (2015) describes his experience with cars that communicate to help keep the vehicle’s occupants safer.
The xCars will be a mobile based app; allowing the users to call self driving cars to their location, the cars will be provided by Google. The car will be built so that they can serve the needs of its customers. The service will be analysed using DREAD and STRIDE as well as risk analysis will be carried out to look into the security of the service and how the risks found can be mitigated why using the secure design.
