There are lots of aspects in this world that can affect how the world works through individual small and big changes. War, however, is one aspect that cannot only make a difference but revolutionize them catastrophically too. The aftermaths of each war can be brutal and render changes to the economy, social environment, the cultural values, etc. through gender, race, religion, and so on. Such is the case of the two wars of the world that totally changed the world from back then till today. The WWI and WWII have been drastically changing for each country even when it comes to a big country like America. There have surely been setbacks while the WWI has also brought about many changes in the social, economic, military, as well as cultural grounds for commonalities like religion, race, gender, language, norms, etc. They have changed America to give a new deal and showed how America works today and the environment that prevails there today too. It also means that overall America changed socially with politics. Thus, there are many reasons given by the WWI that have turned America on socio-political grounds more apparently in the case of attitudes towards religion, gender, and race.
While there were aftermaths seen most in Europe and the Russian Empire, the Hungary Empire, the effects for America across the Atlantic have been different too. Among the most striking changes were the growth of the industry, the women’s movement of progress, and the newly adopted diplomatic policies
The World War created a great deal of changes for everyday life of an American citizen. American people faced losses and had to learn how to start over. It brought changes from the social and economic standpoint of things. Crazy to think that
World War I significantly influenced the modern world in which all humanity subsists. The United States of America was altered internally and externally by the Great War. Shadowing World War I America was distinguished as a supreme nation holding great power; subsequently the nation would be redefined politically, economically, and socially.
Americans became disconcerted with the world due to the issues surrounding the wwr and thus developed a policy of isolationism that greaationalism. The causes and effects of the war changed the lives of many people, causing Americtly and negatively impacted immigration to america and immigrants currently living in America America turned
World War I changed America greatly. It had an obvious effect on the way we handle business on the home front. Propaganda, rationing, and political views all played a part on American citizens in World War I.
After World War II, the American psyche became permanently stained with new ideas. During this time period, the American government actively sought to change the way the American people thought. The support of the American public was crucial to the success of the war effort. Many ideas introduced during this point of time consisted of new roles of certain people groups in American society. Women and minority groups would prove themselves in the workplace, millions of citizens would be discriminated against, and social barriers would be broken and assembled. Even though World War II took place in Europe and the Pacific, it made lasting social changes that can still be seen in America.
World War II was a war that changed the world. It affected many lives across the globe, including those in America. The lives of women and minorities in America were greatly changed. Women became a key part in aiding the war effort, and minorities took the opportunity to push for civil rights. However, for Japanese Americans, the war had a very negative effect as they were seen as a threat to our country. World War II truly impacted these groups of people and transformed their of ways of life.
The American home front during World War II is recalled warmly in popular memory and cultural myth as a time of unprecedented national unity, years in which Americans stuck together in common cause. World War II brought many new ideas and changes to American life. Even though World War II brought no physical destruction to the United States mainland, it did affect American society. Every aspect of American life was altered by U.S. involvement in the war including demographics, the labor force, economics and cultural trends.
Good Evening, My name is Terri Skinner reporting from TSJJ News Broadcasting, here to discuss the war and who it affected before and after WWI. Before WWI many Americans were in what we considered the “Progressive Era” in which many were faced with inequality, social, economic, and political challenges. Many different groups were affected such as Women to African Americans. Migrations occurred form Europe as well as for African Americans from the South to the North. Many where starting to growing in numbers as well as influence, which included women, churches, reform groups and working classes all played a part in progressivism.
World War II changed the lives of many Americans overnight. Men, women, children, everyone was impacted by it in one way or another. After the bombing of Pearl Harbor by the Imperial Japanese, the United States made the decision to enter World War II and fight back. World War II gave those who were discriminated against better opportunities. World War II impacted many Americans especially Latinos, African Americans, and women. Even though they were all discriminated against equally before World War II, during World War II Latinos and African Americans had a more positive experience than women.
I believe World War II change the American psyche by proving that as one country we all can come together regardless of sex or race when our country. Also it made Americans believe that they were unstoppable and able to accomplish any task that is thrown at their country.
“Hostilities exist. There is no blinking at the fact that our people, our territory and our interests are in grave danger. With confidence in our armed forces, with the unbounding determination of our people, we will gain the inevitable triumph, so help us God.”(Bowen). World War II was a start to a new beginning of what America has become from the impact of the war. Chaos across countries brought hope to America, in the sense that the people of America are coming together in a situation of multiple countries fighting. World War Two brought many positive impacts to the lives of women, the economy, and the lives of African Americans.
World War II was a very important event in American history, but as bad as war is or seems to be there always seems to have better outcomes in the end. By the Japanese bombing Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941 and bringing America into the war it opened the eyes of all Americans to the problems not only domestically but internationally and the biggest problem that was discovered after the completion of World War II was the level of social equality around the world. It had been a problem that had plagued the world for many years but the atrocities that brought about by the war coupled with the ever growing eye of the media caused for greater concern in the light of social equality in the world.
World War II (WWII) had an immense effect on the United States; culturally, economically, and industrially. Although no battles were fought on American soil, the war affected all phases of American life. Among the infinite of changes experienced by Americans during this time, there was a big shift in the industrial complex, a re-imagining of the role of women in society, and economic boost. Social shifts began to shape a new national identity which would change the country forever.
World War II had a definite impact on the United States. It changed how people lived and how other people were viewed. Not many people realize the treatment of people from our own country during World War II. Three groups of people that were affected were women, African Americans, and Japanese Americans. The lives of these people were changed drastically, whether by having to work, mistreatment because of skin color, or by being blamed for something that was done by a country they were native to.
Ever wondered what their economy would be like if World War II never happened? Many things show that if World War II never happened America might not have ever gotten out the great depression that they were win before the war. It goes to show how strong America was when their people needed it the most at a time like this. Even though they ran into a trainwreck of problems during this time they still came out on top and helped America be shaped into what it is today. Who knows, maybe America would still be in the great depression today if they had never went to war. Therefore, the World war II economy has had the greatest impact on American society, because it has changed views on certain people or races, boosted them out of the Great Depression,
