I remember watching this particular one on TV at the Rose Bowl in 2002. It still has to be one of my favorite performances of this song. Not only does Martina McBride have an amazing voice, but with the band, the flyby, and the fireworks really set the mood for the entire song. You can tell just by watching it how much the song means to her as she put her heart into the entire performance. It isn't as common to see now days with new upcoming artists.

3. Lee Ann Womack had her greatest hit yet with, "I Hope You Dance." She collaborated with Sons of the Desert on this project. Fifteen years later, it's still a staple song to play for special occasions today. Her other hit from that year was, "Ashes By Now."
Country music star Deana Carter performed a concert in Flora, MS on Saturday, September 23. Her concert was an outdoor concert at a beautiful venue. On the main stage, were all of the instruments, lighting, and microphones needed for her performance. As she began to sing, her performance truly was breathtaking. Not only was the weather perfect for the outdoor event, the lighting helped set the tone. As she began to sing, I heard the sound of Carter hit every single high and low now she attempted. It was truly incredible to hear someone that talented, live in concert.
Rimes also performed the song that started it all, “Blue” in a way that shows the maturity of her vocal and music creativity and stylings. Laura Briggs starts the talk by discussing the Republican Party and the policies they have enacted over the years. She goes all the way back to Reagan and discuss Reaganomics and how it affected families on welfare. The discussion goes more in detail on how certain women of color were being attacked that were on welfare and denied access to it because they were single mothers. People believed that Clinton would reform a broken system and produce independence but that wasn’t true. Companies like Walmart, McDonalds and Kroger would hire these mothers and pushed them into low wage work. Walmart was the biggest employer getting employees enrolled in government programs and taking advantage of it. Additionally, she talks about offshoring

There’s no better feeling than being at a concert and jamming along to songs that you love while surrounded by people who share the same love for the music. Music concerts are majestic environments where a variety of different people come together in order to share their love of music. A few weeks ago I attended a Zac Brown Band concert for the first time and I was truly inspired by the band’s artistry and skill. The band was fully able to captivate their audience with their soulful tunes and obvious passion for performing. One moment of the concert that particularly stood out to me was when the band performed a cover of The Beatles hit song “Let it Be.” Zac Brown Band was able to stay true to the original song while bringing a whole different level of soul to the music through the addition of a gospel choir. The audience immediately related to the song and came together to sing along to a song by one of the biggest bands in music history. Zac Brown Band was able to successfully deliver such a powerful song as “Let it Be” which was off of The Beatles final studio album.
It was also the public release of her new music video for her single “American Girl”. Anna Slawson, an attendee and one of Coats’ sorority sisters said, “It was really cool to see my pledge sister performing at such a popular bar in Tuscaloosa and doing what she loves”. Another concertgoer Tara Henderson said, “I think because Bailey sang a lot covers of songs that people already knew it really let the crowd engage and sing along with her which made it more fun and entertaining. Coats closed out the night with her rendition of “Sweet Home Alabama” saying that she couldn’t leave the stage without paying homage to the state that means so much to her. Overall Coats felt that, “The concert went better than I could've ever expected. The turnout was truly remarkable, and the show was put on in a whole new manner than I have ever done before. It was incredible to share my new performance with my college peers and more importantly make a difference by giving back to such a worthy
Acts of violence are detrimental when regarding its effects on human emotion. When exposed to too much violence, a person’s perception on society and even themselves begins to be altered. Nevertheless, just as violence can be disadvantageous to people, it can also be seen as an advantage as it causes citizens to realize that change needs to occur. In “Great to Watch,” the author, Maggie Nelson, discusses how society, especially Americans, have become desensitized to violence. Nelson also goes into depth to explain how society has become accustomed to violence due to the fact that people are exposed to it on a daily basis. In addition, Beth Loffreda discusses and explains the effects that a violent hate crime had on the town of Laramie, Wyoming

I Was Here was released in 2011 performed by Beyoncé Knowles and written by Diane Warren. I have a lot of songs that I listen to, but this one has caught my eyes because Beyoncé is telling the world that she wants to be remembered, she wants everyone to know that she lived, and she did many good things in our nation. I do not admire the performer. I just think she does a good job and set a good example for our teenage girls. Growing up, I remember every little girl wanted to be just like Beyoncé; she was such a role model. They’re a lot of songs by Beyoncé that I also enjoy, because most of them talk about love and other feelings. Being remembered in this world was one of the main message of this song.
The two songs that made the grates impression were "there is nothin' like a dame" sung by the singing cardsman and "light of a clear blue morning" sung by the collegiate chorale. They were not the traditional chorale songs I was expecting to hear. The first song stuck out because of the performance itself. The men made it entertaining as explained earlier. In contrast, the second song had a high clear sound that contrasted with the emotion the soloist managed to evoke. The words of the song produced a sorrowful mood but the crispness of the soloist’s voice brought the feeling of hope to the
