First things first I am going to tell you about your very tight schedule. Your lockers are very important; keep them clean you store everything in there. You visit it every hour. If you keep it clean you can find your stuff. Use your time out of class wisely, you can talk to your friend but get to class on time you will have to go all the way to the elementary school office. If you come to school late 4
When I made the transition from fifth to sixth grade, I was coming to terms with who I wanted to be as a student. All throughout elementary school, I had performed well, but I had never truly applied myself or cared about my work. Mrs. Medsker changed that.
help you understand and deal with all of the challenges Jr. high throws at you. In order to
After getting my schedule and my locker, my mom helped me figure out where all my classes were on the school map. We walked the route together multiple times until I felt comfortable with my schedule. Because of this, on the first day of school, I wasn’t worried about going from class to class. I had already figured out my schedule, so the only problem I had with the first day of school was finding friends and finding a place to eat
The fifth grade school year ended very quickly, Mrs.Cullen retired, and my classmates and I moved on to the next chapter of our lifes, sixth grade. As the next school year arrived, I went about sixth grade the same way I had started about fifth grade, I had a ton of friends in my class, and I thought that sixth grade would be a walk in the park. My advisor was Mr.Ferry, and having to write about 1000 times I will not disrupt class, I finally began to approach sixth grade in a different way. In sixth grade I learned the importance of mindfulness, and doing what I loved from
Although, there are times in my two years here in RHAM Middle School where things did get hard, but I still worked hard and tried my best and did everything to be best ability. I made sure I worked hard in all my subjects and I made sure I kept all my grades up even during sports. There are many things that I have accomplished in my middle school year, and there are many things that I am proud of. One of my accomplishments were having fantastic grades in all my subjects this year. In my seventh grade year I didn’t have really good grades, I guess because it was my first grade in middle school it was just stressful and nerve racking. My main goal this year was to try a lot harder than I did last year, stay focused on my school work inside school and out, and make sure to keep up my grades and have no C’s during any quarter
Tip 5: Always do your homework. Homework is one of the most important things in school. If you do not do your homework you could fail and get in trouble. You will not be able to understand everything you are doing in class completely and might not be able to move on to the next grade. So if you do your homework you will be fine in class and in the grades to
Number one : Your grades are above all most important. Don’t abuse free time, use it to get a little work done then laugh with your friends. Pay attention in class and please please please listen closely to your teachers. Number two: Love your class. It makes life so much easier. You're in a small school, as long as you're not completely weird you’ll fit in. Friends are essential to a smooth ride through high school. Plus if you get behind on an assignment they can help you catch up. Finally number three: Just keep going. High school will not last forever and it will get straight up depressing at some point, but by all means don’t give up, it’s gonna be ok, and you’ll get through it. It’s been a wild ride for me. I wish you and whoever reads this the best of luck and the funnest of
Hi, I'm going to show you how to be a perfect 6th grader. This is an easy thing to do. We are going to tell how. So, let's get started. You should read this before you go to school and read this earlier.
Give 110% in everything you do. This includes paying attention, being engaged, focusing and doing your work. Paying attention is a crucial part in doing great in grade 6. Just listen to the teacher and you won't get in nearly as much trouble compared to talking to a friend. Be engaged, you will get so much more done, which will bring up your grades. Focus and do your work, if you do this you will not have as much homework.
It is not very hard to keep your locker tidy. Always remember your schedule and always bring a pencil. Do not ever, ever let anyone use your book, trust me my grade dropped like flies. Your brain book will help you stay organized. It will help you remember your passwords because by the end of the year you will have a lot. You will not be able to keep your grades up if you aren’t organized.
As an Early College High School student, we were told that from day one as a freshman we had to know what we wanted to study and do for the rest of our lives. Middle school didn’t exactly prepare us for that type of environment, let alone have us decide what our future career would be. At fifteen I was still figuring out myself, and I’m glad I took the time to do that first. I might not have known then, but after all the training and experience the last three years of my life has given me I definitely know now. It takes more than just a thought to create a passion, it takes experience and knowing oneself. I found my passion, it was a burning desire to study in the field of nursing.
Transitioning to middle school was a difficult experience that taught me a skill that I will use throughout life. The jump from fifth grade to sixth grade is often challenging due to the change in teachers, learning environment, and pressure. In fifth grade I enjoyed a daily schedule of sports and social time with a small amount of time dedicated to homework. The fifth grade attempted to prepare me for middle school by giving me an increased amount of homework and more challenging material, however, faculty and administration still acknowledged that I was in elementary school and am not at an age where I should be given a large amount of homework. When I become a sixth grade student everything changed.
Tuesday was the start of a new six weeks, my academic short term goal is to have a 90 and above in every class that I have. I will have this goal down by going into my classes every Friday after school to check on my progress in that class and sit to do extra credit if I really need to be sure I make an A in the class. A personal short term goal I have for myself is to maintain my healthy eating habits for about another year, I have cut down candy, sodas and fast food places. I will achieve this goal by staying right on path with my meal plan and working out daily. I will know I have accomplished my goal when I lose twenty pounds and when I have a flat stomach. My third goal is a personal one and it is to save up two hundred dollars to pay
I need encouragement to focus on this year I like to be told by teachers Dykeria you got this your smart intelligent girl. I loved to be told good things about myself it pushes me to do even better. I also wish that I exempt my classes so that I want have any exams. Show that I am smarter than anyone would expect me to be. Im going to do my best to do what I have to do to exempt and do anything thats possible to get me through the school year. Im so excited about my senior year this is the year. I need to focus on graduating. Graduating is the most exciting part about high school your finally finish with high school. No worries about if you gone past or fail the 9th, 10th, or 11th grade. I also need to focus on my grades. I need to try to keep them up as much as I can because before you can exempt or graduate your grades have to be good.
The end of school came eventually, and I abandoned dreams of the sixth grade. Luckily, I was transferring to another elementary school, but this offered me little consolation. Only dummies have to repeat a grade.
