Animals have played a big part in my life, I have always had some sort of animal ever since I was born. Growing up I've had dogs, hamsters and fish and I have loved all of them deeply. This love for animals has showed me that I want to work with animals for the rest of my life. Becoming a Vet Tech is a great job because I get to see animals all day every day and I get to care and love for them.Vet Techs provide care for all animal's, anywhere from dogs, cats, exotic pets, lab animals and zoo animals. They help animals recover from injury, illness and help maintain animal's overall health. Vet Techs are commonly called ''nurses'' for animals, having the same jobs nurses have but just for animals.
Throughout the past few years, I have contemplated back and forth constantly of what it is I might want to be when I graduate from high school and college. At first I thought maybe a lawyer, but I soon realized that I am not the type of person to argue against others. Maybe I could be a doctor, but too many people are in that profession or want to be in that profession as it is. After a while of long, hard thinking, I decided that I would apply my love of animals to my future career path, therefor I decided that I wanted to be a Veterinarian. When people look back at their lives, a lot of them would like to think that they made a difference. One of these ways is by caring for an individual who could not take care of themselves. It would bring this person a sense of happiness and great relief knowing that they have done something to change an outcome, or potentially save a life. "Being a vet tech is a rewarding and life changing expierence" (Holmes 46) . Not only is being a vet tech rewarding and life changing, but it can help the world become a better place by saving one animal at a time. For someone who loves animals and spending time with them, being a vet technicians is the most suitable career choice.
There are many kinds of veterinarians. There are vets that specialize in common house pets like, cats and dogs, vets that take care of exotic creatures like, lizards and snakes, and vets that treat large animals like, horses and cows. For my future career I chose a large animal veterinarian.

This career fits my personality because I love animals and I do not become too attached to them that I would not be able to do the job that I needed to do as a veterinarian. Being a veterinarian provides personal values such as helping others, because as a veterinarian you should do everything you can to help the animal and satisfy the customer. Another personal value is that the job is challenging, you face many challenges when it comes to finding the issue or issues when examining an animal, performing a surgery and doing it correctly, prescribing the correct medicine that will help the animal get better as soon as possible, and putting the animal down when you think the time
From a very young age I have always had a passion for animals. Anytime my family would visit a zoo or even when I saw a wild animal wandering about, excitement and wonder would bubble up inside me. An important part of my childhood was the pets that I’ve had as well; in fact, I don’t remember a time when I didn't own a pet! I believe that animals and pets of all kind deserve the best care they can get and I only wish to become the best veterinarian I can be.
In the United States today there are fewer animal-lovers today than there used to be. There are a lot of animals in the world, and there are not enough to take care of them all. Although this career may not be awesome, easy or even ecstatic. I on the other hand however believe its challenging, being a vet can be the sweetest job ever chosen.
Since as far back as I can remember, I have loved animals; especially cats and dogs. At first, I wanted to work as a cashier at Petsmart. As I aged, I realized it’s very difficult to make a good living as a cashier anywhere. I set my sights a little bit higher: Becoming a veterinarian. Ever since I made this decision in elementary school, I have worked exceptionally hard to achieve this goal. I recently graduated high school as a valedictorian in a class of nearly 400. Through my senior year of high school, I shadowed at my local veterinary clinic to better understand what I will be doing for the rest of my life. The experience just made me even surer that helping animals is definitely what I want to do for my career.

You have to learn how to regulate your emotions and it is recommended for vets they talk to family, friends, or even a counselor to make sure you stay healthy mentally and physically. There are many different careers in the world to choose from. From doctors to engineers to teachers, etc. In the medical field, it is way more than just surgeons and physicians. There are a whole bunch of careers that are not related to that. For our assignment, we were told to pick three careers where only one can be doctor related and the other two somewhere else in the medical field. Of course, with me being who I am, I chose the career of a veterinarian. A veterinarian is the physicians for animals. Their job is to care and help provide health for any sick animals. Most do perform surgeries like spays and neuters. Not only do they treat illness, but also provide any needed information to the pet owners about responsible animal guard ship.
With being a vet it is a lot of responsibilities, which I am capable of doing. It's just another reason I would be good as a vet. Another reason I would be good as a vet is that I love animals and I believe that animals love me to. I would love to work with animals all day long if I could, which is why a vet would be an amazing job for me. I would get to see animals all day long. Then I would go home to more animals, which would be awesome.
Becoming a veterinarian takes a lot of hard work and many years of schooling, but it is an immensely satisfying job for those that are comfortable with and passionate about working with animals as well as people. Veterinarians offer medical care to by diagnosing and treating sick animals, which are often household pets, farm animals, and zoo animals. While looking into becoming a veterinarian, many factors of the job need to be taken into consideration: education and experience requirements, working facilities, job outlook, advancement opportunities, salary and wages, tasks performed, and advantages and disadvantages.
