I am pleased to report that there is no change in this section from last year. Reid’s demeanor has remained professional at all times while in or out of the station. The manner is which Reid deals with the residents, Village employee’s or other agencies is respectful at all times. While on ambulance calls, Reid constantly remembers to speak to the patients or family and not at them. Reid will bring himself to their level to converse rather then stand over them. This is a technique taught in paramedic school to have a calming affect. The courteous fashion which Reid treats the patients and family helps ease the stressful environment. I have seen Reid explain every step of care that was being given to help put the patient at ease. Once
Neptune has changed significantly over the last 5 years and during the last 3 I have worked as a band 6 supporting the ward Manager to provide a safer service to patients by introducing the safe staffing levels recommended by the RCN and Mid staff reports. We have achieved this through a recruitment drive, starting a rotation programme to improve skills and communication between Neptune an ED and creating an ethos for improvement. I have also benefitted from this over the last few years and have attended study days such as recognition of the sick child, level 3 safeguarding, pain management, extended paediatric advanced life support, management workshops, mentorship and a HDU module showing my commitment to my personal development and the attitude that I have toward my career.

Cindy has worked the majority of her professional career in the customer service industry. She is passionate about helping others and being part of a team. Her references said that she is a strong person, dependable, has great work ethic, and willing to do anything she is asked. Cindy wants to continue to grow professionally with a company where she is part of the team and she can call home. Gaps in employment have been due to illness and the passing of immediate family members.

According to the report, in the assessment it states that Cavaness was stripped searched by an officer Johnson and two unidentified officers.
At the age of 15, Andrew Medina became involved in a botched carjacking, consequently getting Kristopher Lohrmeyer killed. I would sentence him as a youth due to his age, and charge him of manslaughter. Initially, I would sentence him to four years of intensive rehabilitation custody where he could rehabilitate from drug abuse and improve his learning skills. Secondly, he would serve four years in custody where he could learn how to generate wise decisions and analyze situations in his daily life. Then, he would serve two years on probation where they could help him to obtain a job, driver's license and a place to live, therefore, Andrew should be able to make better decisions in his life and overcome his learning
Personally, I had the privilege of working with Ms. Santos from 2014 through 2016 in the William Beaumont Army Medical Center Emergency Department. As a young soldier, Ms. Santos was appointed as shift leader shortly after her arrival and her team was always the most efficient, hardest working, and consummate in professionalism. Notably, she was able to accomplish this while directing those up to a decade older than her and garnering the respect of not only her team but also the entire Emergency Department Nursing and Physician Staff. Since that time, she has been appointed as the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of the Command Suite and
Effective communication during a patient handoff is critical in ensuring patient-care quality and safety and bedside shift reports have been found to increase patient involvement and satisfaction (Wakefield, Ragan, Brandt, and Tregnago, 2012). Bedside shift report is viewed as an opportunity to reduce errors and ensure improved communication between nurses (Gregory, Tan, Tilrico, Edwardson, and Gamm, 2014). Improved communication between nurses can be beneficial for all involved. In response to the Joint Commission’s National Patient Safety Goals, bedside report has been supported as improving patient safety, patient-centered care, and nurse communication as well as reducing medical errors (Gregory, et al., 2014). Ofori-Atta, Biniend, and Chalupka’s (2015) article examines statistics regarding hospital care and shows that according to the Inspector General Office, Health and Human Services
Nothing feels better than giving back to a place that has given so much to people. A majority of the little things that we do day by day are taken for granted or they are just seen as nothing major. In reality there are so many things that are given to us and we do not always see the little things in life as anything of mass importance. For our kindness project we decided that it was time for us to give a little to ensure someone had a smile at the end of the day. We partnered up with the Rho Nu club here on campus and together we made tie blankets. These blankets that we made will be donated to the Sacred Heart hospital in Spokane later this month. We decided to do this project in the hopes of giving a little, but making it count for a lot more. We hoped that the children receiving these blankets always get a smile on their face or simply that they just find comfort in these blankets. In this project I was the leader of the group and I did most of the organization of
Thank you for sending Rosemary back to see me some nine months since her last appointment.
I have noticed a change in Marks attitude not only towards other medics but also towards nurses to. He is more polite to the nurses when we drop off patients and is more polite to the patients in general. I have not had a nurse or a patient complain about him in the last three months to me. He seems like he is come along way in the last three months and it is fitting in well on our shift. I now find myself not worrying about coming in and working with
In 1945, author George Orwell was living the communist Soviet Union, ruled by Joseph Stalin. Orwell wrote Animal Farm to portray the events of the Russian Revolution. The book Animal Farm is an allegory for the Russian revolution; all the characters in the story represent a person or a group of people in the Russian Revolution. Orwell wrote this story as an allegory to make the story easier to comprehend, while still getting his point across. One of the characters in the story is Napoleon, a pig. Napoleon represents the Russian Soviet leader Joseph Stalin. Just by reading Animal Farm and seeing the actions of Napoleon, it was obvious Stalin ruled by fear, but the rule of Joseph Stalin was worse than anyone could imagine.
George Washington said, “I do not expect the Constitution to last for more than 20 years” (Gilder Lehrman). Today, we have oldest written constitution in the world. It has been able to endure because it is flexible and it stresses liberty and equality to the American people. The book states, “It has endured for more than two centuries as the framework of government because it has changed over time” (Overview). Thomas Jefferson, based on his notion that "the world belongs to the living" was technically right. We are the living and our Constitution is basically the same as it was when he made that statement.
Women’s roles in the Elizabethan Era times were hard and brutal as they serve men all their lives. The etiquette of women was as a proper lady should be. This quote states, “ nature hath made to keep home… and not to meddle with matters abroad, nor to bear office in a city or commonwealth no more than children or infants.” (The Life in Elizabethan London.) The roles of women are deeply outlined in everything. They were always viewed as the weaker sex. Women could not work in any politics, medical, and/or laws. Some single women were accused as witches. Men always holding the upper hand may chastise their wives, if needed. However; the men may not inflict bodily harm or cruelty.
Research indicates that 1 out of every 4 children will be the victim of sexual abuse before reaching age 18
