How To Write A Soccer Essay

Everything starts as a young kid that's when you make friends and most of the time those friends are the ones you experience and try new things with in my case that thing was soccer. I grew up with a lot of my older family members playing soccer i would go to my uncles and older cousin soccer games and in my head i would think to myself i want to be as good as them and maybe even one day have a chance to play with them. When i started elementary school that's when it all started for me i made friends with kids that had the same interest as me and that was soccer it would be all i would talk and think about everyday during recess me and my group of friends would rush out to the field to play some soccer and show off our skills.

Not much is known about the origin of soccer. However, the Greeks and Romans played football and ball kicking games. The London Football Association developed the first sets of rules in 1863. British sailors and settlers brought the game to India, South America and Europe.

I know this may sound cliche or super basic and that is fine, but the topic of this essay is soccer. Soccer is a game played all over the country by all different kinds of people. It is the world’s game. This game includes a ball, two goals, and eleven players. Those are the facts but there is so much more to it than that. You need passion, drive, competitiveness, and most of all, love. This game triggers all of these things in me and that is the reason why I play it.

In a poor village lived a boy whose imagination could touch the sky; he would dream of being one of the greatest soccer players in the world, but his parents would tell him to keep his expectations low since no one ever left the village successful. During the day he would work in the fields, the hot sun stabbing his neck with needles of it’s strong rays and weeds would prickle his fingers making his fingers go tough. His knees would buckle as endless hours would take up his childhood. All he did was work, but, there was one thing that kept him from becoming like the gray minded adults. Soccer.

Football and soccer have never been really compared before, probably because alot of people think they dont have many similarities. But they actually have alot more in common that people think they do. Having played both sports myself i can tell you that they are very different in varius ways, but also very alike. It depends in what aspects you look at it that you can see differences or similarites. Off field soccer and football share different backgrounds. On field comparisons are never talked about but they actually have somre similarities. Yes football is more of a contact sport, and soccer more of a technique sport. But football does have technique as well, and soccer contact.

How can someone become a professional soccer player? To become a professional soccer player the players must follow the rules. There are many types of clothing in soccer. All the players must stay on their own positions if they don’t then the game won’t go correctly. Soccer is really difficult to play because it has many positions, rules, and types of clothing.

What do you think the best sport in the world is? In terms of the excitement of watching it and playing it, soccer is the best, and there are many good reasons to persuade you to agree. For the most part the whole world loves soccer and plays it more than any other sport; the main exception is the United States. Generally, in the United States soccer is not the most popular sport; compared to basketball, American football, and baseball. However, in the U.S, soccer is becoming more popular. There are a few reasons why soccer is appealing to all people, young and old.

Athletes who play football share the same goal as athletes who play soccer: score the most goals to win the game. In football, there are two areas on opposite sides of the field where one can score points by bringing the football over the goal line. Soccer shares this same concept by having two nets on opposite sides of the field where one can score a point by kicking the soccer ball into the net. Also, both sports share the concept of having an offense and defense, and both sports each have eleven players on a team on the field at a time. Soccer is a popular sport played all over the world. Even though it has only been popular in the United States for the past 30 years, soccer has been a long time favorite most everywhere else. The sport dates back to the Egyptians, who played games involving the kicking of a ball. Now, the sport has grown to a global pastime, including men’s and women’s teams, and the World Cup (which is played every four years).

American Football: the modern day Spartan agōgē. As early as the 6th century BCE Sparta mandated military training for all males ages 7 and up. Renowned throughout history as the ultimate rite of passage for male youth, the Sparta agōgē can be found alive and well today in the form of American Football. I know because I lived it, and in Texas no less.

Ever since I could remember, I have always had love for the game of soccer ever since I first laid eyes on the sport. As a kid, I would spend countless hours in the backyard by myself; I would juggle, kick around the ball and doing drills. When I wasn't in the yard pretending to be Lionel Messi I would watch Ronaldinho videos on Youtube dreaming I will one day play against him. Call me crazy, but I was addicted, even as a young boy, to the beautiful sport itself, soccer.

Their team was very good at setting the ball up, and getting people to hit. This gave for good digs, and allowed us, as well, to set the ball up. It was a really good match, having to push to win by two points. The scores were as follows: 26-24 and 25-23. We were frenetic about losing! Especially the people on my basketball team! They know exactly how mad we were when we lost because we’ve never beat Marshall in basketball.For volleyball though, that had been our first lost of the season.

People have always loved to play games. The human race has created hundreds of thousands of games to entertain themselves and to compete with one another. The most beloved games are those of physical sports. One of these sports, that has become a worldwide phenomenon, is the game soccer. The entire world gathers every four years to send out their best team, and to see which country is the ultimate champion. To play the game of soccer, there needs to be referees to ensure that the players are safe and are following the rules. Though this was once a highly respected position, in Virginia, working as a referee is no longer worth the time, due to a lack of respect, no support system, and the constant variations and changes to the rules.

My friend and I planned on going to an NCTC Lady Lions Volleyball game on the twenty seventh. She picked me up a few minutes late, due to her little sister's inability to put on the right shoes, but, fortunately, we didn’t miss much of the game. I was relieved to know that they allowed food and drinks in the gym because I had a sweet tea with me that I was just too friendly to part with. I also had a quesarito on the way, which another friend was bringing for me. I didn’t know it cost money to get into the game at first, (I should have known to bring money) but my friend is always prepared, and she had enough money to pay for the both of us to enter.

My initial reaction to the event was that it did not differ greatly from the games of volleyball that I have played; not that the game itself was different. It was interesting to observe
