(STOP)Workplace Bullying is repeated, health-harming mistreatment of one or more persons by one or more perpetrators. It is abusive conduct that is threatening, humiliating, or intimidating, or Work interference in other words sabotage which prevents work from getting done, and it could also be verbal abuse.STOP Workplace bullying doesn’t fall under everything that makes a person at work feel unrecognized or upset. Certain behaviours that produce risks to health and safety that are generated by bullies at work, whether if intentional or not fall under work bullying, examples include (refer to PPT) - abusive, insulting or offensive language or comments - Aggressive and intimidating conduct - belittling or humiliating comments - Victimisation - Practical jokes or initiation - Unjustified criticism or complaints - Deliberately excluding someone from work-related activities - withholding information that is vital for effective work performance Analysis Workplace bullying can harm the receiver in many ways but certain effects vary due to the unique characteristics and circumstance, for instance if they’re extremely emotional they can experience mental illnesses such as depression and suicidal thoughts or they could experience physical
