For some years now everybody has always thought that losing weight meant losing your mind. Some have even thought when you are trying to lose weight, you have to go on boring diet. But that’s not true. You can find different ways to lose weight, without the diet pills or even trying to starve yourself. They are options and choices but you don’t have to lose your mind just to get back in your skinny jeans. By eating correctly and following the food guide, you can lose weight and keep the weight off. Even a super busy person can do this. The food guide contains: “fruits, vegetables, proteins, grains, dairy’s, and oils” (Choosemyplate.gov). I walk around the football field once a day with a total of 2 laps. Being that the football field is bigger than my street I cut my walking in half. I didn’t want to overdo it on the field. Every day I went up on lap, by the end of that week, I was walking around the football field track twice a day for a total of 12 laps a day.
The next week I start walking around town, I would leave my house and climb the hill that was on the street next to me and walk a total of two to four miles a day. Once I got use to that I would add on more. I figure a gym in my rural area wasn’t enough for me. I need more then what the hospital gym was providing for me. I would walk with my two pound dumbbells and have my music on to keep me motivated and away from anything that would distract me.
I had followed these same steps and change my eating habits and working out more and more. So one day I decided to go and weight myself. So when I had got on the scale I was shock to find out I had lost 20 pounds within a month. No diet pills, no Jenny Craig, no Nutrisystem no expensive meals to buy, no gym membership I did this on my own. By change my eating habits, watching what I eat and when I eat it, as well as exercising I lost 20 pound in one month and I was so ecstatic. I just could not believe it. I lost weight without losing my mind.
