Introduction After recovering from an ischemic stroke just six months prior for reasons unknown and the only reason that I did not deploy with 3-509 Airborne. I was serving as the Battalion S-1 Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC) when an Individual Augmented (IA) tasking for SOJTF-A / NSOCC-A came from higher headquarters to our Brigade. I decided that I would apply for the tasking, not only because I met the qualifications at the time, but for reasons that I would probably never have a shot at an assignment like this in the future. After going head to head with my peers, I was hand selected by the 4th Brigade 25th Infantry Commander for the assignment. I packed my gear and headed down to Ft Benning CONUS replacement Center (CRC) to …show more content…
Let’s talk about intimidating, I’m thinking that this guy could kill me with the pen he’s holding, and I hope I don’t ever piss him off. After my welcome to SOJTF-A brief, he, like four others just prior to walking into his office, started to admire the M-16 Fort Benning issued to me prior to the deployment. I was already fed up with him and the other operators making fun of me that it was time to stand my ground. I said, what SGM, don’t be mad that I found and brought you the same M-16 that you used in basic. Now this could have gone one of two ways, either I would have been left alone, or I would have gotten stabbed with the pen he was holding. So after 40 or so pushups he released me with a smile on his face and a wish of good luck. Next stop the Commanding General’s …show more content…
My fear of the new surroundings and of my new direct supervisor started to kick in. I waited for about an hour to finally meet him. He is an 18 series First Sergeant (Special Forces), and he could tell right off the bat that I was not at ease. We talked for about an hour, first about me than about the mission at hand. After the talk, he did not ask, but rather he said, I got this and that this will be too easy for me. If I need anything, anything at all, to let him know immediately. Every day he would challenge and test me, requiring me to excel past my comfort zone. If it was not for him, I would have not believed in myself the way I do
At the first page of Item 5 document, a big white space appears on the page 114 above the first heading “A. Operating Results”. We suggest eliminating the white space and beginning this page with the first heading. Meanwhile, two lines of white space appears on page 128 above the section “Income or loss from…”, but the rest of similar sections only have one line of white space above so the formatting is inconsistent across these sections. Similarly, the inconsistent of lines of white space also exist on other headings.
Thank you for meeting with me last week on the name change for Belleview Street in Topeka.
On 06/16/2018 at about 2345 hours, Officer Deltoro (P#2509) and I were dispatched to 4812 Crystal Sword Street in reference to a 911 disconnect. While en route North Las Vegas Dispatch advised a male and female could be heard in the background yelling.
Edwin, because your disability during the month of December, you were not able to accumulate anough work for this period, you did not accumulate any rework numbers. However part of the quality section of your monthly coaching form is your full house compliance and hope your whole house in range. Currently for the month of February your score 96.9% in whole house complaints in 100% in whole house in range. Your two new yearly averages are 93.4 and 98.7% respectively. currently you are falling below on whole house compliance. Although these two percentages are difficult to accomplish, you are within a very close range to meeting both goals. I have the confidence, that you will reach the necessary goals by the end of this year.
The draft 2017 budget is close to completion. I would like to meet with you to; do an initial review of all the discretionary budget items, ensure all project items are captured and to make sure no items are missed.
t is our goal to accommodate provider requests to add patients on to be seen. However, please refrain from scheduling patients from 12:00 pm – 12:30 pm. In the Orlando, Florida area this area is always changing and will always change due to the fact that it’s the tourist capital of the world. This won’t change anytime soon, because we see the amount of people that coming to visit the area have keep rising. This year the Orlando area will see over a million people come into the area. With some many people the fire department always has to change with it. Orange County is one of the fastest growing departments in the state. This is because so many people are moving in to the area and where places use to be nothing but farming area is now we are seeing neighborhoods been built.
To the extent my timetable is concerned, I typically go to work at 7.30 AM. It's a 20 minute stroll to the healing center from home. On days when I'm not working I'm finished with rounds and seeing patients by 6.30 PM and back home before 7.
In 2013 at work I got a new position on a team with one other person called Trainer Development Team. When we were selected to be on the team we were already doing a position that we volunteered for, a maintenance instructor for C-5 aircraft. I had only been an instructor for about one year and it was a four-year position. I had not taught very many classes, but I enjoyed doing it. On the day, I found out, I was told by my supervisor that I needed to go see the boss, he didn’t tell me why. I immediately thought that I was getting in trouble for something, couldn’t think of what though. The boss was not a very approachable boss, it was awkward trying to talk to him. When I went to see him, he had me sit down and explained as much as he could about the new position I would be doing. He assured me that it wasn’t because I wasn’t a good instructor, they just needed someone in my career field to be on the team. He didn’t have a lot of information on the what all the job was supposed to be doing, it was new at our location and our command. I found out that there was one other team member and that the boss was going to become my new supervisor. The other team members name was john, he was someone that I had known for a little bit of time, but wasn’t very fond of. Before John got to the training detachment, he
Jennifer you are very dependable and you have shown your ability to complete assignments accurately and on-time as well as the ability to follow required procedures and guidelines. Jennifer you are able to work independently and with little to no direction from me. Jennifer I can depend on you to complete a priority assignment by the requested due date. Jennifer you have a 100% success rate when sending your required reports to me. If you are not able to submit a report to me by the required time frame you let me know in advance with a reason why and the date that you will be submitting the report.
During this unit I learned how to share a project with fellow classmates to allow them to work on it at the same time as me. I also learned the three different ways to allow this, by either sharing it with them, sending them an invite or link through via email, or by copying the link and sending it them. When I used Google Docs in high school we just shared it with one another and could see when we were all on. We also used it when we presented, but I did not know with One Drive you could present online! I think that is one of the coolest tools ever! Not only can you work on these projects and documents together, but you can communicate with each other as well. I was also unaware of how many gigs of storage you get when you sign up for programs
Key problems for this family include maintaining proper nutrition for their children, consuming the right foods with the right amount of nutrients for Jennifer, who is pregnant, adopting a heart healthy diet for the father, James, who is at risk of developing heart disease and managing their grandfather’s hypertension at home.
Word had come down that there was going to be some Crew changes. All I wanted was to get off the Two Tank and I wanted off bad. SFC Moton like to joke around a little so when he told me I would was going to be his gunner on the four Tank. I just laughed and didn’t take him serious. I do remember standing in formation when he made the changes and if I could have jump for joy I would have. We stayed out in the Field a lot so eventually you get close with the guys you serve with. After training together in and out of the field for a couple of months I became solid with his commands, the teaching and his leadership style. It was important to know what each other was doing and thinking when your firing a 120mm cannon. I had come to really respect the man for teaching me what I needed to know and drilling me on my job Knowledge. And in Garrison how he always had on a press uniform, spit shined boots, even his motor pool coveralls where pressed. Yes, he was cool the man in my eyes. As time passed we became close and he would share these great stories about his military career and when he was a United States Army Recruiter and women. We always talked about women and the army but a lot about ladies. He liked for me to tell him about my time in Germany and the places I went and the different people. One time in the field when we was shooting Gunnery and I had to ask him why was it so
On June 21, 2011 Spc Brown and I were on CQ duty. 1SG, the SDO and the Platoon Sergeants conducted a walkthrough of the unit’s footprint. When they entered I was laid back at the desk watching a movie, on my phone and had my boots on the desk. I did not immediately stand up or yell “AT EASE” when she entered or exited the building. She also noticed that I wasn’t writing the log down correct and didn’t log Spc Brown out when he left for dinner chow. 1SG asked if I had read the memorandum and my 3 General Orders. I quickly responded “Negative 1Sg I do not.” Upon them leaving once again I didn’t render the proper “AT EASE” when she left the building. I was then order to study my General Orders and 1SG might stop by
What I’ve learned from the buildup and negative development in this situation is that regardless of how you think a situation is going listen and obey all orders given. If you think something is a joke go along with it if it is coming from one of your superiors because it could be more serious than you
