The first job I would apply for after obtaining my bachelor degree from California State University, Northridge is the position for Program Manger - Health Services and Administration. The location of this position would be at the Saban Community Clinic in Los Angeles, California. The tasks of this job that appeal to me the most is being in charge of the staff performance, credentials, overseeing their schedule. I as well have the responsibility to ensure the entire staff member’s are obeying the regulations to provide the best quality of service to the patients. Another important reasonability is to maintain a relationship with other providers to manage sufficient coverage. I personally like to interact with other providers to form new ideas …show more content…
I personally think the staff member job performance need to be adjusted to bring change. I am a social and talkative person and these skills can help me bring change that I wish to achieve for the health care system. I have a lot of experience with working with different age levels and personalities in this matter; I understand what it takes to bring modification. For this position, I know that I will have the advantages to bring new ideas by being in charge of the staff and overseeing their performance. By observing their performance I can determine which group of staff members I need to focus more on to provide a new strategy of change to implement outcome of quality. In order for me to be competitive for this career I must gain extensive experience in this field. I know that my grades and most of my skills allow me to qualify for this position but that doesn’t matter in most cases. In order for me to stand out I know that I must get more involved in a hospital care setting. I have only been volunteering in a hospital for six months now and I feel that more years of experience will allow me to enhance my knowledge. I as well plan on joining the club called HASA for networking and making more connection and using them in my work
Thank you for giving me your insight on working in an outpatient facility. I really appreciate getting other's opinions about careers in the different available medical areas. I'm unsure right now which area that I'm more interested in working, but the outpatient facility and payer facility areas both seem intriguing to me. I like the idea that you stated of getting to know the patients on a more personable level and seeing them improving daily in their condition. It sounds very interesting and rewarding.
In my time volunteering at the hospital, I hope to gain many different experiences. However, there are a few main ones: adaptation through enrichment and dependability. First of all, I want to get to know and adapt to the environment of the hospital and learn how different processes work. This is a crucial part of being in the atmosphere of a clinic. Also, the experiences that I will have at the hospital will help me to understand the routines and entailments of the career I would like to pursue. I hope to become a Physician’s Assistant in the future and this will be the best way to know if it is the right position for me. This enrichment of my understanding will help guide my passion for this career path and hopefully strengthen it.
During this unit I learned how to share a project with fellow classmates to allow them to work on it at the same time as me. I also learned the three different ways to allow this, by either sharing it with them, sending them an invite or link through via email, or by copying the link and sending it them. When I used Google Docs in high school we just shared it with one another and could see when we were all on. We also used it when we presented, but I did not know with One Drive you could present online! I think that is one of the coolest tools ever! Not only can you work on these projects and documents together, but you can communicate with each other as well. I was also unaware of how many gigs of storage you get when you sign up for programs
The Neocutis brand of products match science to the delicate task of skincare. Lumiere from Neocutis is a soothing eye cream that brings intensive moisture to reduce signs of aging, darkness, and under-eye puffiness.
Note: I know I have done bad things in the past, I want to say sorry for that, I know that was very immature of me to do. Let's start.
Often times while working in the critical care unit I am faced with similar situations like the example in Exercise 1-1. Often times delegate to families the various roles as part of an overall collaborative team. At first I take the leader role; the leader will assess the situation and create a plan to implement for others to follow with little to no harm or risk (Yoder-Wise, 2014). It is during this time that I locate the person in the family and “assign” a person of contact/point of contact for the family. All calls made to the unit in regards to the patient’s condition are deferred to the point of contact person. In the manager role; which is defined as a role in which a process of following a set of practices and procedures have been tested with proven outcomes that satisfy everyone’s needs (Yoder-Wise, 2014).
Since 1400 to 1700, the population of the world has seen three periods that affect them; the renaissance period, the baroque period and the Rococo period. Each period has a different kind of paintings, a different kind of art, and a different way to affect the society.
As mentioned by Calloway in the beginning of the “Documents” section, it is important to consider that historians often disregard stories due to their lack of understanding and that these stories can provide insight into the lives of individuals who lived through certain times in history. As pointed out by Leslie Marmon Silko, origin stories should not be taken as fact. I think that viewpoint supports the idea of possible migrations.
Yes, agree you will probably not see such a fundamental security concept highlighted/spelled-out. Auditors typically ask for Business Justification, Executive Team Approval, and for the Merchant (NCDOT) to demonstrate Compensating Controls such as an active Data Loss Prevention (DLP) system is these situations (if utilized).
The initial steps, I would have taken in treating the victim is approach the victim gently and introduce myself (Jackson-Cherry & Erford, 2014). I would accompany the victim to the ER. While at the ER, I would comfort the victim during their medical exam and make them aware of any factors that would affect the gathering of physical evidence. I would ask the victim if they wanted me to explain what will happen during the medical exam. Therefore, I would explain the medical procedure to the victim. After the medical exam, I would try to be supportive and take the necessary protocol to ensure the client safety. The protocols could be speaking with law enforcement, assessing the client’s need for safety (Jackson-Cherry & Erford, 2014). Lastly,
Upon completion of my bachelor’s degree program, I will try to seek employment with my hospital human resources department as a generalist. I currently work with staffing and with a bachelor’s degree in management; I believe I would be ready to move up to a higher level. The transition from staffing to human resources I believe would be smooth, because I am familiar with the hiring process and I am also knowledgeable with dealing with outside staffing agencies.
Being familiar with the staff and protocols in a specific hospital is very reassuring. I had attained a job position in the medical feild prior to starting any of my clinical rotations at Westfield State University. Having this opportunity and eexperience level heading into my sophomore year at the time was extremely beneficial and I would recommend anyone heading into a nursing program to start looking for positions within a hospital or private care facility to start making connections and learning varying aspects prior to gaining knowledge in the classroom. Throughout my position's at Lawrence General Hospital I “made contacts, displayed my work ethic, familiarized myself with the facility I want a career in, and enhanced my nursing skills”(Page 5). Also, I was offered knowledge and advance by several nurses, some even offered to be my preceptors for my spring 2018 clinical placement. Working hard and displaying your compassion goes along way and will continue to throughout my nursing
Good job, Rita. It is certain that in every healthcare organization needs to implement teamwork efforts in order to achieved improved outcomes. The person you interview has a kind of the same ideologies like yours. The hallmark of reaching patients’ expectations and goals centers on the proper implementation of care among the team. As you stated, the person in charge of performance management and improvement in the LTACH at your job aims to build a team that will foster effective outcomes, which in turn, expand the growth and reputation of the hospital. My unit manager’s aim centers on reducing the number of errors made by physicians, nurses, and technicians, and to improve patients’ outcomes. She also encourages proper communication among
You mentioned about shared decision making, while discussing your experience in change management as a good leader that you have a plan of change with good and effective communication. It also included informing the staff, asking for feedback for smooth transition and considering their positive concerns. Also it will enhance employee satisfaction, improved healthcare system and staff
In the health field change occurs daily based on evidence based practice. When change is unplanned or little time for change occurs, it can cause stress and employee dissatisfaction. A recent change in our hospital occurred with the employment of a new director of acute care. The employment of the new director brought on changes to what was expected by the nursing staff. Some changes that were implemented include the charge nurse having to audit the
