Different types of nutrients will deliver the needed energy source that will help when the body is in survival mode. These nutrients include carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. The human body can survive for a few weeks without food. However, water is a different story; a person can only live for a few days without this substance. The human body needs water every day as this will help the body's system to work properly.
