Both the “U.S. Declaration of Independence” and the “Declaration of the Rights of Man and the Citizen” were both revolutionary documents that all had a central theme, human rights; both of these documents demanded the same natural rights for each citizen. Freedom of speech or expression of ideas, freedom of religion, and fair and equal tax to name a few. These were all rights that were denied the colonial American and French people until the forging of these powerful documents.

Become a citizen of one of the best nations in the world is a privilege that not many people have. I’m talking about the United States of America. If you are an U.S natural born citizen you have rights and responsibilities that protect you based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S Constitution. People who are in the position to become U.S. citizens gain the same rights, privileges, and responsibilities of citizenship as natural born American with the only restriction that they can’t be eligible for President of the United States.

The human rights lens provide a means to examine systemic issues and state responsibility. Human rights principles that apply to patient care include the right to the highest attainable of physical and mental health, which covers both positive and negative guarantee in respect of health, as well as civil political rights ranging from the patient's right to be free from torture and inhumane treatment to liberty and security of person. Citizens rights is being able to express their own opinion. These principles give all American citizens an opportunity to vote.

I, James Madison from Virginia, have noticed the criticism from the anti-federalists over the lack of liberty and security. In order to unify the country alongside all of the citizens, I propose amendments that emphasize the individual rights, rather than the rights of the states. These individual rights would include the following: freedom of conscience, freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, freedom of the press, and the rights of property. Human rights are basically rights that individuals theoretically have within natural law. We also know that because of that, we have responsibilities that trail along. Some may say, that what strengthens our relationship with Jesus may be the blessings that he gives us. Others may say that is it the duties that we need to obey because we have more respect and meekness in accomplishing these things. In American government, it is the same. Some may say that what strengthens our society is the rights that have been given to us by the constitution. Others say that it is the responsibilities, we have as American citizens. El Salvadorian women constantly face a multitude of human rights violations despite the country’s ratification of many human right’s documents, such as the International Convention on Civil and Political Rights and The Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women. In El Salvador, there is currently widespread support for the legalization of abortion yet the government refuses to supply females with the basic human right to life. The circumstances faced by females in El Salvador represent an encroachment on the human rights to life, medical care and an adequate standard of living, which require immediate remedy through legislative change.
