What are human rights? Some might ask. Human rights is a right that is believed to belong justifiably to every person. But not everyone has these rights. How would you like to wake up everyday and hear gunshots and hearing a rocket hitting a buildings and your mom and dad hiding under a table. Then have strangers coming to your house and taking away your family. That is what the people in Syria feel like for the past 5 years. Things have gotten worse ever since ISIS came along and took over the area. This topic has many sides to it from the president to the presidential nominees and the United Nations. The United Nations has to do more to fix this problem before it gets and worst.

The United Nations (UN) is an intergovernmental organization to promote international cooperation. A replacement for the ineffective League of Nations, the organization was established on the 24 of October 1945 after World War II in order to prevent another such conflict. At its founding, the UN had 51 member states; there are now 193. The headquarters of the United Nations is in Manhattan, New York City, and experiences extraterritoriality. Further main offices are situated in Geneva, Nairobi and Vienna. The organization is financed by assessed and voluntary contributions from its member states.
