In life it is all about happiness, don’t get me mislead money plays a big part in everything. But happiness is the key living a long life, choosing a career because of money simply will make a people not love their career. The career choice out of the several different descriptions in this week’s reading for me would be an Evaluator. This person is trained to make through assessment of a need to continue with certain nonprofit agencies. This position is a key benefit to the human services career field, without this person there would be numerous amount of money wasted on nonprofit agency that aren’t helping people with their problems. evaluator is need simply because some programs are useless and they need to be cut because they are wasting money.

The Human Service field can be trying to individuals now and again and compensating too in different snapshots of one's profession. As I was growing up, I always wanted to help others in any way that I could. I began working in the medical field once I graduated high school. I began working for my local department of Social Services two years ago, and have since decided to further my education in Human Services. Advancing my education in the Human Service field will allow me to help those in need sufficiently, provide a better financial environment for myself and kids, and it will give myself more career stability.
“I feel sorry for the person who can't get genuinely excited about his work. Not only will he never be satisfied, but he will never achieve anything worthwhile” (Walter Chrysler). Deciding on what one wants to be in life can prove to be a demanding task. There are so many, yet limited, different opportunities in the world to have an excellent career and make a decent living while doing something one loves. It is limited because there are only a few specific career paths that someone could take to make good money. It is very difficult to make a fulfilling living being a garbage man. There are many different opportunities because, within these specific careers, there are usually various paths to take. Someone who has dreams to be a
Having a background in human services is a benefit. If a person did not have a background in human service they probably would not have chosen to be in this field. Their background could have been what put them in their career. I wish that everyone had a perfect childhood, but that will never happen and the past cannot be altered so it’s best to look at the positive side about having a background in human services in order to create a better future. Sometimes people become so overwhelmed about a situation thats already over, although it can be hard most of the time the only thing that a person can do is to learn from their experiences and utilize it to help others. Lessons repeat themselves until they are learned.

Starting from being a certified nursing assistant, to becoming a unit secretary for a hospital that specialize in wound care, I have always known that I wanted to help individuals in need. However, I noticed that I was not happy with helping individuals in medical need. It wasn’t until I decided to continue my education that I introduced to the world of social work. Going up with a single mother that suffered from drug abuse, my family depended on social services for a lot of assistance, from everything such as food stamps to family counseling. This life experience helped guide my thoughts on pursuing social work as a career. I know that I want to help individuals that are down on their luck, but I want to take it one step farther, by providing individual counseling to adults that may need more one on one time, than what is normally given from a social service agency. Counseling will also give me a chance to do what I love most and that is to talk and get to know the individuals that I am helping make like changing decisions. Working as a clinical social work has my interest because it does not put limits on what I can do or who I can help, and it will set me up for my future goal of becoming a licensed clinical social worker. Being my own boss and changing my community is my dream job, opportunity and goal. I am currently on my way with changing my community and living my dream, because I am currently working for a non-profit
My goal is to have a career in health care management. While researching careers, I discovered health care management. I choose health care management as my career option for two reasons. I’m looking for a career where I can do what I passionate about and impact lives. These are important factor in my career choice. Health care management met my two requirements and at that point I knew this was the career for me. I firmly believe that any career I pursue should be one that I’m passionate about. One of my passions is helping others. Health care managers help patients just as much as doctors, nurses and other clinical professionals. For me it’s very imperative that I find a career were I would have impact the lives of others. This would ensure that I’m fulfilling one of my purposes in life. I 'm ready to experience the emotional and intellectual rewards my MBA will
Graduating with a bachelor’s degree I was naïve to the workings of the world. Unsure with the direction of my life, I entered the working world with one goal, to help people. Seven years after leaving University of Wyoming as an undergraduate I feel I have done a total 360. This indecision in my career path meant working in a variety of human service jobs before finding my niche. Yet, I was unable to escape the mantra I had when I graduated college, helping people.
As a young man entering my senior year of high school, my mind races as I try to figure out what it is that I’ll commit my life to. What will be the driving passion, the purpose of my existence, the reason I get out of bed every morning to face another day of this life? Some people would try to encourage me to choose a career simply for its potential to make me wealthy. However, looking at the degenerate lives of the rich and the famous around the world, its apparent to me that the pursuit of earthly riches alone isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be. I’d rather spend my days in pursuit of something more fulfilling. As far as I can tell from my
Many people strongly believe that after High School math will never be a part of their life, but to their surprise the 15 most highly paid degrees are all associated with math. A career shapes a person and their everyday life. When choosing a career, many people get carried away with the amount of money they will make and in most cases ignore whether they will like what they do or not. The choice of what career a person will pursue in life can be a tough one that will take time to determine. One of the many careers someone can choose in life is becoming a National Aid Worker. In this case, a person can not be influenced in becoming a national aid worker by the money that they will receive throughout their life because this
