Hello class of 2017. I can’t decide if I feel sad or happy about giving this speech. I guess I feel sort of both but I also feel confident, as each and every one of you should feel the same. Being proud is a feeling that is impossible to hide. If you are proud of yourself, or anyone else, you let other people know. That's why I must now say that I’m extremely proud of all of you for achieving this goal for which is nonetheless mentally exhausting, full of error, but also yet amazing all at the same
Good evening fellow classmates and community. Isn’t it crazy how in a few short minutes we will walk up to the stage and receive our diplomas? We have spent approximately 14 long years in school for this moment and it all went by so quickly. I remember how just yesterday I walked into my kindergarten class that smelled like hand sanitizer and crayons. But here we are… time flew by so quickly and we accomplished many and these accomplishments would have not been possible without the help of many.

Welcome ladies and gentlemen to my speech that is attempting to explain to everyone why my best friend, Sebastian Cantos, is deserving to be given the “Student of the Year” award. Even though we all know that all five of the students selected to win this award are all coequally deserving, I vigorously believe that Sebastian is deserving of the honour of being given this award due to his keen intellect, raw talent and benevolent soul. When he was still a toddler, he was deemed a child prodigy.
Hello, fellow students! Good afternoon, honorable professors and parents! I may not know the struggle each individual's in here went through to get this far, but from looking at y’all beautiful and handsome faces, I know it was all worth it. I can finally admit everyone that
They were filled with stress, long nights, upcoming due dates, and endless excuses to get out of running the mile every monday. I will miss every second of it. The students you have in front of you are some of the most hard working, talented, and selfless people you will ever cross paths with.I believe that we were put together for a reason. They have been a blessing to those around them and for that I thank them. As
around the world, in many different cultures and variations. In the short stories, On Stuttering, by Edward Hoagland, and Me Talk Pretty by David Sedaris, the authors discuss how they had to overcome obstacles in their everyday lives because of their speech impediments. They describe how they felt about their limitations, different strategies they used to defeat their language barriers, and the affects that theses obstacles had on their self confidence. Hoagland struggles with a stuttering problem,
