Hunting Should Be Allowed Hunting is beneficial to our society and therefore should be allowed. Historically human beings have been pursuing wild animals to provide their families with food, clothing, and shelter. In modern times the need for hunting for survival has lessened because of the development of animal husbandry and agriculture. There were times in history worldwide when hunting became profitable and hunters began killing animals for their fur, skins, and meat. Then it became necessary to put regulations in to effect to preserve wildlife as well as to somewhat appease the critics who felt hunting should be illegal. Three main reasons why hunting should be allowed is to

The hunter will not only benefit by this knowledge within his hunt but also will know what animals to pursue when hunting. Ill or deformed animals often give the hunter a sense of empathy when hunting. These animals may not live very long and possibly spread its disease to the other animals. Sport hunting should not be banned when examining information from this angle as it affects us all in general. Hunting also provides excitement and a close connection with nature. While hunting, the hunter often connects with nature while sitting in silence. He has the opportunity to observe his surrounding and become familiar with his hunting ground. Knowing the plant life and growth rate of the area crops is very important part to being a good hunter. This knowledge comes through conservation of the land being managed for hunting. Through this land management, the plant and animal life become more abundant. Hunting should be allowed and protesters should make the effort to become more knowledge about the benefits of hunting. There are many environmental benefits to society and to wildlife. The health of the animals is important to hunters as they reproduce and replenish there will be ongoing game for hunting. Hunting is a privilege and privileges require responsibility. Citizens must meet certain standards. The greatest threat to hunting in North America is not anti-hunters. It is the
I believe that Hunting should stay legal because you can get a fresh and healthy product, Less people will be poor because they are saving tons of money by not going to the store to buy meat, and it’s a fun thing to do with your free time.
To start things off, hunting is a major contribution to society. Hunters put so much money into the economy that one could not believe. In fact, in a year, hunters spend upwards of 1 billion dollars a year on tags (“25 Reasons”). Though a lot of that goes back into conservation, a good amount still goes into the economy (“25 Reasons”) About half a million goes back into the conservation(“25 Reasons”) Hunter actually requested an 11% tax on guns, for conservation
Hunting has always been argued in being beneficial or critical to the environment. Especially, in recent world topics as well as the short story “The Most Dangerous Game” by Richard Connell. Mr. Sanger Rainsford in “The Most Dangerous Game” changes his opinion on hunting. The short story states, “The world is made up of two classes—the hunters and the huntees.” This quote illustrates that Rainsford is expressing his philosophy on what he believes hunting is, and not having a problem with it. As you can see, it is my position that hunting is beneficial to the environment because it balances out the ecosystem, and teaches humans the value of nature.
When you look at the facts, you will realize it benefits wildlife through conservation and it can be a vital management tool. It simply is an unmatched economic aid in many places. Taking the lives of animals is also a way of life for many cultures and has been in human nature since we were around on this planet. It will probably be around for the rest of our time here. Hunting is essential for the survival of humans and for the survival of the animal
Since the start of history, people have hunted animals for sustenance to live and to use different parts for garments and other basic reasons. In this advanced world men still hunt for nourishment. All through history individuals have been seeking after wild creatures to give their families with food, clothing and a home. During these modern times society-hunting requirements for survival has diminished on account of the improvement of agriculture, creature farming and assembling of food which is processed. I feel like hunting is a very big thing that has taken place during the earlier times through out the countries and it has impacted everyday life for people and their families to survive. Even today hunting is famous and still has an
history of hunting reveals that hunters of today share many of the same motivations and methods as ancient hunters. While technology and accessories may be different that those used for hunting thousands of years ago, the ability to take down an animal is something to be celebrated. When you learn the history of hunting, you’ll gain greater appreciation for this old tradition. Hunting is an essential component of conservation and can be used in everyday life; it has been a part of American history from its earliest beginnings and once provided a necessary source of food. In the early 1900s, when many wildlife species were almost near extinction, hunters stepped forward and asked Congress to impose an excise tax on the sale of firearms and ammunition products to help fund wildlife conservation in the United States. Another act that came into effect was the Conservation Movement. The conservation movement covers the movement to preserve and protect America’s wildlife, the lands, and other natural resources. A lot of hunters hunt for one purpose and that is to feed their families. These hunters usually hunt during the specific seasons where they can harvest the animals that their families will eat. Hunting is also an effective form of management because it will remove a number of individual animals from a population and prevent them from reproducing. Reducing the population will reduce human/animal conflicts, such as car collisions, Lyme disease and landscaping damage.
Hunting is the world’s oldest and most productive means of food, yet it has begun to take a turn from its originality. Most “hunters” do hunt for food, but the select few that specifically hunt for the sport and nothing else have begun to sway organizations to the concept of “Anti-hunting.” These institutions have concluded some very critical, and factual, evidence in their opposing arguments on the matter, but in some ways the argumentation presents weakness that has been overlooked; these flaws are menial, but need to be surfaced. These little defects within the following arguments justify the hunter’s right to hunt and harvest game, and Anti- Hunting organizations such as PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) have stated multiple facts about the way hunting has turned against its inventiveness such as: sport hunting as an unnecessary form of cruelty, fair chase of animals, and hunters as conservatives.
For ages hunting has been the crucial task to stay alive for mankind. Animals have provided many necessities such as food, warmth, and tools. Their entire body was used; any fur was taken to make hides and clothes, bones were used for weapons and tools, and the rest of the animal was used to eat. Daily life for the hunter consisted of setting traps, using camouflage, and waiting until his desired animal came by. Hunting back then consisted of long wooden sticks that were sharpened on the end to be able to kill the prey. However, hunting to stay alive is extremely different than hunting for sport. The earliest reason that is believed understood to hunt animals for sport was to show off skills of rulers and their nobles. It was a sign of wealth
At one point in time, humans relied on hunting and gathering to survive. Although now it is much easier to go get food for dinner, by just making a quick trip to the store, it is still really important to understand why hunting is still a common thing. Being able to hunt gives people the opportunity to bring home food to their families that is natural and not steroid induced. Also, if for any reason the world was turned upside down, how else would we find food to eat? I understand hunting is not for everyone, but I would like to tell the story of my first kill so you can fully understand the importance and feeling it gives me.
Hunting is frowned upon by animal activists and some environmentalists. Hunting promises injuries, pain and suffering to animals and their family members. Activists believe that hunted animals do not have a fair chance to survive and populations will eventually become extinct. With wildlife agencies seemingly promoting hunting, activists view traditional hunting as an unnecessary practice; only practiced out of
A reason I believe people can benefit from hunting is economics. According to the text, people can benefit from hunting that has to do with economics (lin 1). It doesn’t cost anything to hunt unless you have to buy a gun, bullets, or camouflage clothing. Hunting can benefit the economy. According to the text, Benefits of Hunting, North Carolina got $511,546,347 from people buying hunting related objects (lin 1). All the tax money earned from people who buy hunting supplies goes to the state to improve their towns.
Many people think that hunting is a very violent and dangerous hobby but when done for the right reasons, it can be a very good thing. People all around the world have been hunting for years and for many different reasons. Some people hunt to feed themselves and their family’s and some people hunt for the thrill of it.
In our world today, hunting has been a major debate between hunters and non-hunters. People can’t understand the realization of hunting until they actually choose to put themselves behind the sights. The benefits of hunting somehow continue to be hidden behind the losses and liabilities of the sport. However because of the calming silence, perfectly tasteful meat, and the gorgeous views, I believe hunting is good for us and the environment. Hunters have tried to prove their reasoning in order for hunting to be seen as a help instead of a hinder. This debate will most likely continue to be a problem for many years to come.
Hunting is both beneficial and non beneficial. It may cause extinction of some species of animals ands it also helps regulate the over population of animals. Hunting can be seen both ways good or bad. Some people have different beliefs that hunting is inhuman or ruthless, and should be outlawed. Other people believe that it should be allowed and should be able to continue.
Buzzle: Hunting Pros and Cons. Last but never least, sport hunting should be banned due to the fact that it causes the endanger and extinction of animal species. “One glaring negative of hunting for sport is over hunting. This occurs when hunters kill too many of a species, threatening their survival.” (Life123). Species become endangered when they are over hunted, and if hunters take it too far, the species will no longer exist. “…there are many animals that have been over-hunted and brought to near extinction, one example being the American Buffalo. Another example was the over-killing of the Cougar. Although this animal was hunted to protect cattle from being attacked, it led to this species nearly becoming extinct.” (Buzzle) The substandard thing about species becoming extinct is that they might not reappear until millions of years later. Imagine how long that would
