Have you heard the news? The bright green and white 30-passenger, Saab 340B aircrafts will charter into some new territory this fall. GLO is going to Alabama!

Beginning Friday, September 30, GLO will offer Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday non-stop service from New Orleans to Huntsville. Gone are the days of a six hour drive between the two. Welcome to the age of one hour, forty five minute flights. Travel made easy indeed from Crescent City to Rocket City.

I’ll have to be honest. I hadn’t heard much about Huntsville until earlier this year, but when I did I was instantly intrigued and excited. Meeting some fantastic ladies from Huntsville/Madison County Convention & Visitors Bureau and some local business owners didn’t hurt either.

Space & Rocket Center and Space Camp. Not only is the space program on exhibit there, it was forged there. Huntsville is where rockets that put men on the moon were developed.

You create a Craft Beer Trail and that is what Huntsville has done. To participate in the fun, grab a Craft Beer Trail card at the Huntsville/Madison County Visitor Center or one of the breweries featured on the trail. At each stop, get your card stamped. If you collect all eight stamps, you get a free Trail Boss bottle
