My first class is advisory. In that class I have grown because I stopped talking a lot I focus more I do what I am suppose to do. My advisory class is fun I get along with all my classmates I spend a nice time in that class. I 'm still kinda struggling in not talking a lot sometimes and I get loud that is something that I still have to work on. Next year I want to do better in my advisory because I know that it also counts for a grade it could still help your GPA. I am most proud that I am passing my advisory class because I wasn 't passing it but I step up and I am passing it. If I could go back an do something differently I would take my advisory serious since the first day because it also counts too and it could help your GPA. The most important thing I 've learned so far is to never give up and always think positive also to do your best in school and things will be better.
In my English class I 'm struggling in turning in my homework on time. I am struggling with that because sometimes I wouldn 't go to school and I will go the next day and turn in my homework the next day. Even though I want to turn in y homework on time sometimes I just couldn 't go to school even if I wanted to. If I could go back and do something differently I would pay more attention in that class and do my work and turn in my homework on time because this is one of the most important class that I have and that I have to pass. In this class I try to do my best but sometimes is hard for me

I 've grown in English 9 because of the readings we do. The habit of heart in mind I use most in that class is effort. Even though my grades aren 't as high, well I have a B, I still put a lot of effort in my work. I didn 't use confidence because I didn 't really think I did good on some work. Like on my essays, I feel like I do alright but I end up doing better than I expected. I am most proud that I turned in my work. I only have 2 classworks/homeworks that I did bad. I have a 89% in that class

I am doing well in my classes so far. I am doing well in advisory. I think I am doing well in advisory because I am passing that class with an A and I participate in that class by helping pass out the laptops, reading the morning announcements, and listening to the teacher. I will continue to do well in that class by participating, following the classroom procedures, listening and paying attention to the teacher while he is talking or giving us (the class) important information. The habits of heart
I am a leader through example both in and out of school. When in a group project, I take a role as a leader to ensure everyone is contributing to produce the best quality work possible. If my group is running low on time, I generally take the responsibility of finishing the project at home, to bring in the next day. When in a class competition, I would take my role as a leader and lead my team to victory, ensuring nobody is left out and keeping order within my group. I work my way around setbacks
I am doing well in every class because I have an A or an A- in most classes except in P.E since I have a B-. I am doing well in Advisory because in Advisory I always write the journal entries. I am doing well in Learning Lab because I always write the journal entries and I show Mr.Benjamin my flex math percentage. I am doing well in Cultural Geography because I turned in the Vocabulary quizzes and I turned in my printed essay. I am doing well in English because I have turned in the vocab words and
Throughout the second quarter I have learned a lot about the Met high school, I learned a lot about how internships are such a privilege, and overall I have become more aware of the real world and the qualities needed to be successful as a freshman here at the Met. Compared to my middle school years at the Creative Connections Arts Academy to my second quarter and first semester of my high school years at The Met I have, at an early age, already started preparing myself for the real word and collage
Advisory, for me, is a sisterhood. My advisory happens to be all girls thus we talk about everything; nothing is too large, nothing is insignificant. I adored my advisory the second I walked through the doors the first day. I felt extremely welcomed and that was mostly because of my advisor, Mrs. Lord. My advisor detected something in me that I had yet to uncover. She told me about a training that was taking place on Saturdays at my school for Restorative Justice. She told me that they needed more

When I woke up this morning, I was extremely nervous. Among my close friends and family, I
am known for my uncanny ability to get lost just about everywhere. So you could imagine how terrified I
was that I would become extremely lost. My younger brother goes to a private school that is pretty far
away from where Central is located. So my parents decided to wake us all up around 5:30 AM and leave
the house around 6. They dropped me off at school around 7 AM. At first I was a bit annoyed
The past four years of high school have been full of change, development, and discovery. I have grown into a more conscientious, outgoing, and considerate young women who is now ready to face the next chapter in her life--college. My high school experiences-- challenging classes that have taught me to precisely express my thoughts, extracurricular activities where I am able to expand and express my ideas, and a social action trip in Chicago-- have helped shape my intellectual and personal outlook
