My first class is advisory. In that class I have grown because I stopped talking a lot I focus more I do what I am suppose to do. My advisory class is fun I get along with all my classmates I spend a nice time in that class. I 'm still kinda struggling in not talking a lot sometimes and I get loud that is something that I still have to work on. Next year I want to do better in my advisory because I know that it also counts for a grade it could still help your GPA. I am most proud that I am passing my advisory class because I wasn 't passing it but I step up and I am passing it. If I could go back an do something differently I would take my advisory serious since the first day because it also counts too and it could help your GPA. The most important thing I 've learned so far is to never give up and always think positive also to do your best in school and things will be better.
In my English class I 'm struggling in turning in my homework on time. I am struggling with that because sometimes I wouldn 't go to school and I will go the next day and turn in my homework the next day. Even though I want to turn in y homework on time sometimes I just couldn 't go to school even if I wanted to. If I could go back and do something differently I would pay more attention in that class and do my work and turn in my homework on time because this is one of the most important class that I have and that I have to pass. In this class I try to do my best but sometimes is hard for me
My first semester as a college freshman is finally coming to an end. This semester has been the start to a new chapter in my life and I am glad to have finally finished my first semester on a high note. Coming into college I never knew what things would be like and how would I adjust. All I knew is that I wanted to succeed and eventually graduate college. The courses I have taken this semester have had big impact on my learning and my future. Assignments that taught skills and lessons to be used in the future. I have learned skills such as being able to collaborate in groups because of projects in ASU 150.
I have learned how to ask better questions and to talk to my teachers when I need help or do not understand the concept well. I make sure that I have a relationship with my teachers and introduce myself at the beginning of each semester. Learning how to communicate with my teachers
First off, one of the biggest reasons for late assignments or bad grades is a lack of
But i didn't turn in a lot of things late and whatever i did turn in it was late so that's what made my grades bad in that class.but now i want to get better grades and turn in whatever i need to.I also want to limit myself on time i waste not working. On the time i waste im usually talking and i dont want to talk I want to be quiet and pay attention.
I learned that if I put a little more effort than I usually do then I could see a huge increase in performance and my grades. I learned that if I really pay attention to the directions that were given to me when they are given, it is a much easier time in the class. Also if I do not understand something, just asking someone next to me or the teacher or even a teacher's aid really helps so I fully understand the instructions
I learned so much about myself and became more confident in who I am. I learned that I am not good at accounting or finance and that you will probably never see me walking down Wall Street. This semester I learned that I have a new passion for health and wellness. I love learning about nutrition and how to fuel your body properly. My business classes taught me how to get out of my comfort zone and be able to present in front of a large number of people. I learned so much about myself that I would not have learned if I did not come to a liberal arts
By the end of the year, I completed 6 of these classes and all together took 13 classes during the school year. I was finally back to where I was supposed to be with most of my credits back. I am registered in the system as a senior this year and taking my regular classes. It was definitely a tough year to get through, and it took all the determination and self-motivation I had. But I made it through and I am completely ready for what comes next in the future of my education. I believed these challenges I have faced have helped me to build a stronger determination and have inspired me more to be better self-motivated in my education. I think these characteristics will be a major asset when it comes to getting through the years of college I have ahead of me. I have always been very passionate about school in general and cannot wait to see what college and the rest of my future have in store for
In last semester classes, I feel like I learned a lot. My teachers did a great job teaching me.
Well this year was a hell of a year. I mean, i didn't pass any of the semesters but i did observe a ton of stuff that went on in the class. The class in general was pretty lit. Every day went by and i honestly did some work. The class was ready to learn as mrs g was ready to teach. I mean yea we had some days were we didn't want to learn anything and there were also days when mrs g didn't want to teach. But ima be honest, doing the work we did wasn't in my best interest. Most of the projects we did in class i worked on, but at the end i didn't end up liking how i did it so i wouldn't even bother turning anything in. like the obituary we had to write about ourselves. I liked the meaning behind this but honestly i didn't want to work on that because it just brought back memories of my friends that were killed.
a new class environment and make new friends. Grammar was probably the hardest class for me, and although
I feel like I've learned a lot of thing from this class that I probably would have never thought about before. Firstly, I learned how community colleges work and about some of the policies they go by. I also learned about a lot of different career options that I never explored before. I think this really helped to open my eyes to all the options so I'm not limiting myself. Lastly, and most importantly, I learned about ways of managing stress and my time. This is something I have always struggled with and now I feel like I have the tools to change. I think this will really improve many things in all areas in my life but especially school. It was really great to hear everyone's dreams and goals as well as their stresses. It just shows that
When it comes to being punctual for class, it is not always easy when you have a family because the timing doesn’t always fall into place. For example, the other week I had my lab class I was not able to attend the first class because my husband had to work late, I had to stay home with my two children and run my other son to wrestling practice. Keeping up with class homework outside of class is often difficult. Like when you have a chapter to read, and there is homework to complete also plus taking care of many other responsibilities. As long you prioritize the situation the right way it can be tackled. Even though taking on these challenges is frightening it can be accomplished with a lot of motivation.
What I didn’t learn from my highschool class is how to properly set goals. I didn’t know that there was a process and I didn’t realize how helpful it is writing down goals and physically seeing them. I was able to learn S.M.A.R.T goals which helps you structure your goals to a achievable standard. I also learned the different types of goals like long term, short term, and immediate. I learn how important goal setting can be and how it helps you better achieve them.
Intermediate accounting class was difficult but that is my major. So, I was more into it when I studied. Business System and Policy class was more details and memorizing for exams which is my weak point. Even though I got A because there were lab scores which it helped to keep my grade better. I’ve never missed any deadlines and assignments. Last one was Global Dimensions of Business. This was quite interesting class because I am interested in other countries. We had a presentation about other countries’ business styles as a team. I usually like working as a team because I could meet new people and easier way to know
I did learn a lot at first semester. First and the most important things that I think I learned is that time-planning which helped me organized the time well which dragged me out of the mass life, at least I know what I need to do and never forget and late for the homework. In my opinion, organized time well is important no matter on study or in lives which can always inform us what we need to do and what time is available for us to do other things that make life more orderly. Besides, I also learned how to use resource that afford by school. Before the facilitator told me those resources, there had so many things that I have no idea who could help me. After knowing this, I felt like open a door that to a continent life for me. I have to say that there have so many resources for me in school, I can do anything with the help of them and which really makes me feel easy
