They call me Anna Lina Bordner and I am 12 years of age. On November 30, 2003 at 11:27 pm, I was born. in Durango, Colorado. Since that time, I have grown and I have experienced tons, and lived through experiences that I am proud of, along with as events that I am not proud of.
Throughout those 12 years I have experienced a large number of successes. For example, one of my best successes is qualifying for honors. In 6th grade I was not in honors, and I decided to be concentrated on my work so I can qualify for an honors class. I did this, because education is important to me and so is success. After that, I learned, an individual can not go anywhere in life unless a person jumps out of their comfort zone. Another success is that I have is I played basketball for a couple of years on a recreational team and I am now decent at it. If I try, and work on basketball, I can improve my skills.
Wrapping up from my successes, I have loads of hobbies. The mountains are like my home, I love going outdoors. I am a mountain girl and I love hiking and camping. I am also serious about school and I consider it one of my hobbies. I prioritize school, and I am super passionate about reading and therefore, and I love diving into long, interesting books, and reading every night when I arrive home. Receiving fair grades makes me joyful, as well as knowing I tried my best. My final hobby that I love to hang out with all of my friends and family. I am a social person who has a great deal of
Growing up I have developed interests and abilities that continue to provide me endless satisfaction and joy: literature, creative writing, friends, and art. These things are my foundation, my fun and my life.
“Success doesn’t come to you, you have to go to it”, through my life from my childhood to this early adulthood, I underwent through many challenges and consequences as well as accomplishes and failure in my life. For example, learning the new language in a different country. To illustrate, adopted the new culture and community on the land of America. Namely, In the age of between thirteen to fifteen, I managed to lose weight and put myself into a weight training course. I have done all of these because I want to accomplish my ambition and show my parents that I could actually do better than what they thought of me.
Growing up, I have been an individual who has pushed myself beyond the minimum requirements in order to succeed. In high school I excelled in both academics and athletics. I graduated in the top 10% of my class and lettered in hockey and tennis my sophomore, junior, and senior year. I worked hard and put in extra time in order to set myself apart from others. Succeeding in both school and athletics made me a responsible, reliable, and an organized individual. These experiences made me a versatile individual and have given me a work ethic that has benefited me with my academics in college and with my work and volunteer experiences.
did things people asked me to, but nothing more than what was expected. I faced very few setbacks. School was great and I put little effort into it, and still earned decent grades. Within softball I was working at an acceptable pace. Every now and then I wondered what I could achieve with a little effort. I had a pretty good attitude towards life and was proud of who I was. I lived up until 7th grade with thinking I was doing fine. It became an issue when I would want to be better at things, but I did not want to try hard.
My life as Adriana Torres started on June 15, 2001. It was kind of odd because when i was born my parents said i was born exactly at the time of 6:15 am. They thought it was a coincidence that my birthday is 6.15.01 and i was born at 6:15 am. My name Adriana, came from the spanish origin. I was born in Dallas, Texas, which is also where i have been growing up. I am hispanic. In my family there are 5 other people not including me, which are my two older brothers and my older sister, then my two parents.
Another significant extra-curricular activity I pursued for eight years is figure skating. I started at six and quit at sixteen. I like to consider myself as a successful athlete becuase I competed in lots of competitions and received approximately 30 metals. I competed individually at the regional level and with my synchronized skating team at the national level. During my figure skating career, I tested my dances, skills and solo and have almost all possible levels for each area of the discipline
There will be a multitude of trials and tribulations that a man will have to endure in order to achieve a higher plateau in their life. I had many great experiences in my life, but I have also had many disappointing ones. One of those disappointing moments in my life occurred when I was an 18 year old senior at City Arts in Technology high school.
Growing Up We all have accomplishments in life I just think mine changed me in a greater way than most. As a kid I didn't really care about many things especially school. The only thing I really bother to find interest in was probably sports and the way others thought about me. Then came a day where nothing really mattered to me but my academics.
I Emma I Ried, was born on February 12, 2004, in Ingham Hospital in Lansing, MI. I am 11 years old and I love to horseback ride. I currently live with my mom, stepdad, two brothers, and my two dogs Chevy and Buddha. I also rotate between my dad’s on the weekends with my stepbrother and stepsister, my two half sisters, and a dog. I really like my life so far, and I’m going to tell you about my friends, family, horseback riding, and vacation.
However, when I think about my interests more, I realize that I have an extremely diverse group of favorite activities. I love to sing. I love pretending my pen is a microphone is just singing as loud as I possibly can when I’m home alone. In middle school, I was in three major theater productions. I’ve been taking piano lessons since I was six and I love it. I like to help people that need it. I am in SADD, LaSallian Youth, and Best Buddies at LaSalle. I also am doing a project outside of school that involves helping the San Miguel School for boys. Although I am absolutely horrible at it, I like to draw. Over the summer, I love going to the beach in the early morning and pretending I am the next Van Gogh. I love to cook. I like to experiment with different foods. For about six summers, I went to a week long cooking camp at Johnson & Wales and loved every second of it. Writing has been a strong passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I used write books and send them into a little book publishing company just to get them bound so I could feel like a real author. Today, I still love to write. I use it as more of a therapy rather than an activity like I did when I was younger. My deepest desire in life is to travel the world and write while I do it. I want to share my experiences with others and give them the sae hope to travel that I have now. I
I was born on September 26, 2003, at the Northridge Hospital. My mom had just rented an apartment for a roof to live. She wanted a fresh start for her new daughter, but we were only going to live there for a few years. She named me Janellie because the name Nellie runs in the family. My grandmother’s name was Maria Nellie, and many of my cousins are named Nellie as well. My father still wanted something unique for his first child. My mom already had a daughter with another person years before she met my dad. After a while, my parents decided on naming me Janellie.
My interests and hobbies are mostly about sports. I am a long-time soccer player and a fan. I played soccer
The end of my Sophomore year was the worst time of my entire life and the main cause of my beliefs and ideas of myself. Depression hit me hard and fast like being in the two minute and twelve-second knockout boxing match with Muhammad Ali, but gratefully received help from my family, school, and a special someone. It played a massive role in my effectiveness in school work and social life, but that became the start of what I would call a blessing. Motivation and ambition came quickly after the second semester after months of pressure and love from others who I am proud to call family and friends.
I was born on December 13th, 1996 in humble Texas. At the time, my father was 17 years old, and my mom was 21. The 3 of us at the time lived in a single wide, ran down trailer in Cleveland Texas. Back then, the town was very grungy and quite frankly,
Throughout my educational experience, I have endured countless hardships that made progress difficult at times. Although it was a struggle through my strong dedication to education, I have also earned a list of achievements for my hard work. These experiences from, failing two of my English classes, to excelling tremendously in mathematics, have molded me into the type of student I am today. I am a student with a growth mindset and, an optimistic outlook on education and, the bright future ahead. I now understand the impact that a positive mindset can have on your future. I am definitely proud of the student I have become. I feel like my journey is unique, but is also very relatable.
