I believe in strength. I believe in the strength to push myself to stand up to those who doubt me. I will not let others take advantage of me. I will not allow myself to be trampled by others. If I am treated negatively I will let the other person know that I am not someone that can be taken advantage of. I speak up when I am doubted or I am treated in a negative way, because I believe in the strength of the mind. I believe in the strength to get back up after being pushed down. When I am treated in a negative way, I use the strength of my mind to prove others wrong by positive thought. I believe in physical strength. I believe that the power of the body can lead me to accomplish many things that I never thought I would be able to. …show more content…
I will be able to prosper and flourish with a strong intelligent mind. An intelligent mind will allow me to make smart decisions and live an accomplished and fulfilling life. I believe in a strong work ethic. I believe that if I have the right strength and a positive mind set that I will be able to thrive in this world. A strong work ethic has allowed me to create strong relationships with others, and it has made be a better person. I have a strong work ethic because I believe in everything that I set my mind to. I believe that strength is not given, it is earned. I have the determination and the heart to build up strength in every part of my life. I believe that building up strength takes time and that it is built through experiences. When someone is negative towards me, I use that experience as motivation to have the strength to speak up for myself the next time that something like that happens towards me. I believe that strength is used in all aspects of my life. In my life, I have had a plethora of experiences where I have had to build up strength, whether it be the strength to stand up for myself after someone has been rude to me, or the strength to run forty walls in a row during volleyball practice. I believe that in order to do extraordinary things, I must have the
A third strength I have is an inner drive to be able to stick to a task and get it done. Whether it is at work or at school, if I am assigned a task I make it a point to work at it until the task is done. If a deadline is presented in front of me I have something inside of me that forces me to keep working on it until it is completed and not just completed but done first the right way. Which leads to another strength that I have is a strong work ethic. In my profession in recruiting what I do reflects me and the company that I work for. When I go to recruiting events or career fairs I represent the company that I am there for. Everything about me such as my demeanor, my dress, my attitude, etc. reflects the professionalism of the company as well as any reports or products that are produced and put out by me. I take pride in my work and
All too often we do not think about our personal strength until a situation arises that causes us to use this natural attribute that we know as strength.
This is true because I like to encourage people and find out their strength to help them become successful in life. I want people to take advantage of their talents, knowledge, and skills. In my whole life, I met many people who always dwell on the past or trying to fix themselves. However, what they did not know is that they are missing so many things. Having this ability or strength help me inspire people to achieve and thrive for the best. I am blessed to have this kind talent because I can help so many people in my life. I do not take my strength or talent for granted because I believe not many people have this kind of this strength. For me, I believe that everyone cultivates their strengths and should take the chance to make a difference in someone’s
Mahatma Gandhi once said “Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will.” A person’s will is the key to survival. While physical strength is an advantage, a person needs the mental capacity to problem solve. Survival is attainable only when a person uses brain power to avoid panic situations. Most people desire physical strength, but mental strength is the most valuable in a survival situation.
My second key strength is showing gratitude to others. If someone does something for me or helps me develop a new skill. I show gratitude to them by thanking them, and I tell them that really appreciate their help. I am there for that person when they need my help.
Strength is that part of your intellect or nervous system that is more effective and productive than other parts. Throughout your experience of life, your actions or reactions drive different thoughts, behavior and emotion in your brain. The requests that are processed more efficiently and rapidly are known as your strengths. Nowadays, strengths-based approaches to work and life are gaining a lot of popularity and often they are used to improve leadership and create more productive and efficient work teams.
“By the end of the day you must achieve something tangible in order to feel good about yourself. No matter how much you may feel you deserve a day of rest, if the day passes without some form of achievement, no matter how small, you will feel dissatisfied.” (PH.Ds, Clifton, O., Anderson, E., Schreiner, L., Pg 26) When I read this quote in our StrengthsQuest text I felt as if I was describing my own personality while starring at myself in the mirror. If there was a sentence to explain “Chrissy” this would be it, or at least a very good candidate when summarizing my number one strength. After completing my StrengthQuest survey online and analyzing my results with the three people who
Vince Lombardi once said, “The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather a lack in will.” Most people throughout the world strive for success in whatever they may be doing, and along with this, many reasons contribute to why success is achieved or not. If a person does not succeed, they may automatically blame themselves because of their level of strength. Others may blame themselves for not having enough knowledge about what they are trying to succeed at. The real reason that people may not succeed, however, is their low level of will, determination, and happiness. Both knowledge and strength combine to help a person succeed because of the will and determination that
Do you think we find strength within ourselves or do you think we take strength from whats going on around us ? I feel that we take strength from within ourselves not from what we do because you cant take power from whats going on around you but how you react to it is from the strength you find within. In the book Copper sun written by Sharon M. Draper shows in many situations where the characters had to evolve and take strength from within themselves to function and carry on instead of just giving up or just giving in. The book also does a good job of explaining the characters feeling toward their circumstances to where you can relate. Especially when she explains multiple characters points of view on one situation.
My psychological strength is perseverance to attain worthy goals, to stay focused in the moment when it counts, to get the job done regardless of the setbacks, to remain true to myself and my team, to walk the talk, to be humble when attaining success and to remain dedicated, determined, and disciplined when experiencing setback, obstacles, and mistakes.
Furthermore, strength is my last great accomplishment. To prove this point, strength mean that you are strong no matter what people say. As illustration, once a person told me that I should quit learning. My strength made me do what I really want to do.
However, physical strength is using force on objects using muscles. We need intelligence in our lifeś knowing that the fact that we need skills and knowledge.
Ray and Joe communicate with each other as demonstrated by Ray's behavior of looking at Joe at the examination.
| I believe in the power to adapt to new surroundings and situations, learning new skills and experiences to make them my own.
I like to think I have many strengths. After review of my character/ personality test, I can see what they are. I am a task-oriented leader, which drives me to finish a project. I have a strong individual work ethic, which allows me to be responsible and not rely on others. I am good at building and leading
