The speech, “I Have a Dream” by Dr. Martin Luther King on Aug. 28, 1963, at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C stood to me most. He had seen that many black peple were still in a state of poverty, injustice, police brutality and segregation .Due to this fact, Dr. Martin Luther King encourages everyone to lay aside their bitterness, hatred or physical violence in confronting the injustices the speech chronicles. More so, this author was very passionate about the lives and survival of black people whether slaves or not. As a result he wanted their freedom. Dr. Martin Luther King therefore believes that America would be the land of Freedom where everyone would be viewed as one regardless of their colour and would be able to work collaborately
