I would want to be a participant in the AAC because I think it is a great way to receive help and advice. As a first generation student, I do not know much about college and how everything works. AAC is a great way to help me be more prepared for my classes and to receive support because my family can help me so much but they are not knowledgeable on college and what to expect, but I know that this program can help me view things better and learn more about a subject. This first semester of college was a bit difficult because it was my first year and I did not know much about how things worked. I feel like I was not as prepared as I wanted to be on some subjects and felt that I couldn't really reach out to other because they might not know
First, I believe that my involvement with the National Junior Honor Society will help me to prepare my future as a leader. John Maxwell once said that “ a leader is one who knows the way,
I have always like studying and helping others. I realized that without education people, I, don´t have a future or an opportunity in life. Joining the Beta Club is a way for me to get experience and knowledge in something that I like to do or something I will like to do. Helping others with an activity that they can´t do by themselves without getting a reward but just the knowledge that you did something good, is a great thing to feel. Aiming towards my goals and dreams is one of my main priorities. Dedicating my time and effort towards it, is letting me become a better student, citizen, and person.
This is a great academy for me because it will help know what courses I would like to do and I will learn so much from and there are many reasons why I should be chosen for this academy. I’m applying to UA Early College because I want to be able to step into college ahead of the game. I have been an overachiever since I was little and take each chance I get handed to me. This program additionally prepares me for courses I will take when in college. It gives a more profound understanding of how classes will be and the paces they will go at.
Meeting new people with a common goals and interests will help me establish lifelong friendships that will be there for me when I am in need. Also, meeting people knowing that we are in it together will bring up our drive and motivation to work hard and succeed in life. I want to be a part of a campus with a great community and high involvement in activities.
I feel like this would be an opportunity to expand in depth in my discipline, as well as learn in a small classroom setting. Through the honors college curriculum, I feel like I have an advantage over my peers because of the unique quality of classes available to me. The opportunity to take these unique classes would make me into a more well rounded student, more understanding of the problems and challenges regarding the discipline that I choose to study. I am certain that the UIC honors college is a perfect fit for me because it fulfills my goal of undergraduate research, as well as enriching my undergraduate
Currently, I am a member of Red Cross Club, UNICEF Club, India Club, MED Club, MUN club, and Symphony. Last year, I have also participated in the Robotics club. These clubs help me learn more about myself and my interest, my goals, and my skills. It really open up my viewpoint. By participating in all these clubs may seem very tense and demanding. In contrast, I joined these clubs because they relieve my stress. They are great ways to communicate with other students and have a lot of fun exposed to real life experiences in the fields/subjects you are interested in. Being a member of these clubs also gives opportunity to meet and network with other people with similar interests.
I would like to join the PFTSTA NHS Chapter because I would like to be a part of an organization that celebrates the success of hardworking students. The National Honor Society is known for its exclusiveness and for exposing young scholars to numerous opportunities, which is something I support. It is humbling to be invited into an organization where they look for not only grades, but an overall exceptional character. I would like to join because the high standards that must be maintained will build and shape my character throughout the rest of my high school career. As I take on more responsibility, it is comforting to know that fellow members of the organization will be encouraging me to excel in everything I do. This membership would also

Additionally I want to be in National Honor Society because I think it offers up many great opportunities.
Joining a club blind of who else was joining challenged me to interact and develop relationships with people who would have otherwise been strangers to me. This helped improve the quality of the High School experience of others and myself as it helped form bonds that will continue post-graduation. Participating in activities with these new friends from Key Club has made me a better person because these relationships have acted as training wheel in the process of associating servitude with fun. Most importantly though, the expansion of my social life through Key Club has helped me cope with the stress of
I want to be a member of National Honor Society because I believe it will provide me with more opportunities to help out in the community. I will use the honor of being a member of NHS to set an example for the younger generation of Storm Lake, starting with my four younger siblings. I hope to add to the character of Storm Lake by being a positive influence on those around me. Volunteering in the community will allow me to gain skills that I will use throughout high school and into the rest of my life. I hope that you consider adding to the National Honor Society roster as I truly believe I can do great things for the Storm Lake community.

Rather than the basic level of education most schools provide, ASMSA provides a much more advanced learning experience. Being taught at the higher, more advanced educational level that ASMSA provides would be very beneficial to me. It would not only challenge me academically,
I would say that I am fairly lucky to have a chance to join this year AAS meeting because not many first-year graduate students usually come to the meeting. My main goals for this meeting are attending my first "Astropy" workshop and presenting the progress of my current research project about finding galaxy clusters. The size and the scale of this meeting is completely different from my first scientific meeting I attended last year in Vietnam. There are more than ten sessions running at the same time covered not only all kinds of research topics in astrophysics from exoplanet to cosmology, but also public outreach and other astrophysics-related topics such as coding and writing papers. The conference can easily felt overwhelming as many events occurs simultaneously. I can only write about the conference from my own perspective, and keep in mind that each one of us will have a totally different experience.
Attending college for the first time is an important, rewarding decision that I made for a good reason. I learned a lot about myself that will help me in my future. Setting goals, having expectations, and reflecting why I am in college is incredible to think about.
